Clarity CSTBHD1 - Freeview Set Top Box 1080P with HDMI and Scart, Digibox Digital TV Receiver with Multimedia Player PVR, 150+ Channels

I’ve had this a few days now and it seems really good, and certainly amazing value. Set up is very straightforward - the box picked up all the freeview stations v easily. Picture quality is good too. Organising the channels list is a bit cumbersome but doesn’t take too long. I’ve put a 128gb flash drive in and it’s working well - recordings are pretty easy from the seven day EPG and it also recognises lots of different file types so you can play music, look at photos etc. It even plays music saved in iTunes on a Mac which is pretty impressive as a lot of non-Mac devices don’t recognise them. Altogether a very good piece of kit - v pleased with this item, especially for the money.A few months on and still happy with this product. Found a way to delete programmes from the external drive too. Still working v well.

Easy set up and instalation I didn't need to read manual. Good sound quality and performance.. though my old USB wouldn't play. I probably need to reset in another device..I had another USB bought it on-line. It has 512GB and this recorded and played back the program. Good for the money straight forward no fuss..unlike other freeview set top box, if you channel hop it doesn't change the chanel you're currently watching, until you press OK...all in all it works well. My TV is an old analogue 43inch Samsung..

The item was delivered very quickly, ordered on Saturday and delivered the following Monday. . It is compact and seems well made. I found the instruction leaflet difficult to read as the print was so faint. However as it was to replace a Humax box that had packed up I had all the cables I needed and it was easy to set up, all the channels loaded quickly. The picture quality is very good especially the HD channels, As yet I have not tried to record anything so can't comment on that. I have only had the box 6 days but so far very pleased with this purchase.

Very shaky picture, very choppy sound. 100% useless box. Returned. The seller received the Royal Mail 48h TRACKED return parcel very quickly, as expected.Amazon had to INTERVENE for me to finally later, MUCH later, receive a refund for this PRIME purchase. In addition to everything else, the seller tried to make me PAY for returning this non-working, substandard device.I asked Amazon to help me. After Amazon's first intervention, the seller just sent me a pointless message talking nonsense about the 'code' of the return parcel, which THEY RECEIVED LONG TIME EARLIER, to still postpone sending the refund to me.Since the seller did not give me a refund, I asked again Amazon for help. Amazon customer service assistant Ravi kindly issued me a FULL refund.I had to ask Amazon TWICE to help. Unheard of. Awful seller, great Amazon customer service.Do NOT buy this inferior device, do NOT buy anything from this untrustworthy seller. Stay away from both.After making the mistake of buying this Clarity box, I purchased an A***st D**482 Freeview Set Top Box Recorder (nicely with twin TV tuners). Works beautifully. Happy days. :-)

Worked well but for one issue. Picture flickers when 1080p setting is chosen on a 1080p TV. Had to select 1080i setting to stop flickering. Never been an issue with previous TV boxes.

Very pleased with this for a bedroom TV it is using the HDMI connection on the TV so colour and volume are great straight off outta the box. nice aspect is the searching channels menu, and I bought a 32B stick in order to record a channel to watch again if needed, and that worked on my tests- Not recorded a full program/film as yet but should all be well. For a cheap second TV set-up no complaints 9/10

Does exactly what it says! My BT equipment was tedious beyond belief in that it took forever to load up. So I lost my patience, threw it in the recycling bin and bought this fabulous little box instead. Easy to follow set up and I can get HD on all available channels. Ready to use on power up, no more waiting to load! Plus, you can record on to a USB stick if you wish. What's not to like?

all worked fine was a good picture then for no good reason when using the numpad 1 which should give BBC1 all you get is a message saying TS had changed press enter to confirm current frequency settings so you have to press ok every single time you turn to bbc1 and then wait for it to scan channels youtube vids show others also suffering this same problem it has a bug not fit to be sold the recordings are awful always pixelated broken image what's the point of having a record when it clearly doesn't work and you can only watch other channels in the same stream as the channel you're recording I know Amazon are good to buy from you do get peace of mind they make it easy to return stuff if it's damaged etc
