The German Empire 1871-1918: History Made Simple Series: Volume 1 (HMSS Germany - 1871-1918)

This is an excellent series of history books written in a new, interesting and thought-provoking way. Historical figures come alive within the sketches and tell their view of the story. And all views are equally represented. I read all three of the books in the series within just one week and obtained an overview of the very interesting German history of the last century. I believe the series is a must-read for people interested in history and especially for pupils and students.
