Good quality and easy of cooking.

After trying a lot of different brands and cooker options, Hawkins was what we tried. absolutely love it's performance. Meat was cooked soft exactly to our liking. It's a powerful cooker.

The media could not be loaded. Problems working with induction cooktop.Initially first time I cooked with it, no problems with induction however the next day it stopped making the magnetic connection with my induction cooktop and it randomly works or doesn't work. Keeps making this ticking sound as if it connects for a split second and disconnect. A big nuisance. My guess is the ferrous iron plate is too thin or it separated or something. Too easily damaged. And the centre part where the logo is, is not magnetic.Do not recommend for induction reliability.Also beware it's made of aluminium which is not hardy like steel and will corrode or pit with the wrong use, too hard to take care of for years. Can also leach aluminium in food if you don't follow it's care instructions

Not good not strong

Very pleased with the Hevibase. Works on single camping gas flame and induction cooker, as does my 3l Hawkins. I was really surprised that at 6.5l this one also works on single gas ring which is great when guests turn up. We are using a double camping stove on bottled gas as it is so much cheaper than electricity and no standing charge.
