Can this hang around car mirrors

The angel is about 2" and the crystal chain is longer maybe 6", so would probably work on a car mirror

Does the 8.5" measure include the hanger? How tall is the angel, itself, from halo to bottom tip of crystal?

From top of halo to bottom of tip of crystal is approximately 2 1/4 inch long. the entire angel from first crystal bead to bottom of the angel is approximately 7 1/4 inches long. Total length from top of hanger to bottom tip of angel is 9 1/2 inches. Hope this helps!

Is this strong enough to be used as a fan pull?

I wouldn’t use it for a fan pull, it is made with fishing line and meant to hang in a window as a decoration. I do love it though, it was a gift in memory of someone and provides rainbows around the room.
