Super good quality, as you can see in the video that I posted, it gives the subwoofer enough room to perform without it rubbing all up on my seat, It's a good way to protect my brand new subwoofer the way I have it in my trunk, five out of five , Super satisfied,would highly recommend it Also installation was super easy, and came with all the required screw bolts 5/5

Listen, for the price these are amazing, extremely solid, seem well made and fit nicely, even came with the screws needed for install. They will NOT protect from getting poked or "stabbed" by small objects, but will certainly protect from getting hit by larger objects (which is why I bought them) like suitcases, groceries etc.

A few things are wrong in the description of the dimensions of the grill for a 10" subwoofer speaker. I have the 10" grill which shows 15.5" inside diameter. 1) The ACTUAL inside diameter is about 11" inches. The outside diameter of the Rockford Fosgate 10" R2D4-10 Prime 4-Ohm DVC 10" inch speaker is 10 and 7/8" inches. This leaves 1/16" inches clearance on each side for the grill to fit perfectly around the trim ring of the speaker (basically it fits perfectly without touching the speaker trim). 2) The height measurement of the grill bars in the description shows 1 and 3/4", the actual measurement from the deck mounting surface to the underneath of the grill bars is 1 and 5/8th inches (slightly less). For my Rockford Prime 10" speaker this allows exactly 1" inch clearance from the top of the foam surround to the underneath of the grill bars, I think this is allows more than enough cone excursion. If you have a speaker with extreme cone excursion at high SPLs, this might be a concern. 3) A picture in Amazon description shows the bars of the grill disconnected which led me to believe it was not one complete piece. The unit is actually completely assembled (welded), and it is VERY solid. I can lift the whole box with speaker installed and amplifier (Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 amplifier attached) by one bar and it seems VERY strong. 4) Last thing...the 4 Phillips screws are not too strong. One of the heads broke off with just a little bit of torque going into MDF when I tried to tighten it (possibly too much). I would suggest you use better screws, possibly allens or torx depending on your box material. Note to Amazon/manufacturer: Correct the dimensions description, provide higher quality screws and get rid of the picture showing the bars removed from the mounting brackets... it's confusing. I'm happy to provide this review because the product itself is excellent for the price. You should sell more of these if you correct these few things.

Good quality & fair price

This is sturdy enough to protect my home subwoofer from a stray kick, and looks good doing it. My only nitpick is that the included screws appear to be no more than a half-inch long. Half of that is used going through the grill itself. It's beyond me why the manufacturer would provide such weak anchors for such a strong grill. Fortunately I had some 3/4-inch black screws left over from mounting my sub driver, so I just substituted them. The grill stands out far enough from the speaker to provide plenty of room for a high-excursion speaker cone and there is plenty of room to fit around my 12-inch driver with a quarter-inch to spare on both sides. Highly recommended, but buy longer screws.

It's very sturdy and the Bars are screwed into the mounting Base but are tight enough to where they don't move, but you can lose them and adjust the whole thing. Mine was a bit off being parallel so I loosed them slightly, positioned it to be straight and snug them up again. In my application, because my particular speaker has those large mounting "ears", I had to use my Dremel tool to shorten the ends of the mounting bracket to make it fit, and just touched them up with black paint. But if you have a normal round Speaker with regular circular Screw locations this will work just fine without any modifications. I'm really liking the look of it and the protection it will give my Speaker since it is mounted in my Trunk and had to fight for space with the weekly Grocery Load and my Photography Gear when I'm on the Road. I would absolutely buy this again, like I said it make of sturdy Steel and I expect it outlast my Speaker Box.

I bought 2 of them to create a grid effect and it looked awesome. I'm not going to post any picture as I know there are already tons of pics of buyers doing this.

I have some Skar audio 10” subs they are high excursion woofers and these are just what I needed they are behind my seat and I didn’t want the sub hitting the seat, I ordered some other ones that said they were high excursion but the sub was hitting these fit perfectly with a good gap that the subs can flex, they look good and feel sturdy and comes with hardware definitely would recommend

This is very strong and looks nice. I could hammer throw my sub using this as a handle.

Did not clear my 10" sub, but made it work. No instructions but figured it out. Very annoying to set up.
