Lovely and sturdy sideboard
I have been very pleasantly surprised by this sideboard. It's quite heavy and sturdy, looks great and I love it. Now, few things to mention. I know some reviewers mentioned that the instructions manual wasn't clear and it was difficult to put it together. Well, I have quite a bit of experience of putting things together, however, I'm not very fit or strong due to health reasons. I gave myself ample time to do this, no rushing. I have found the instructions fine, believe me, I've had worse! For me the trick is to take my time and don't rush. Slowly unpack everything, and as I go, make sure I identify all the fittings and parts listed, then tick it all off on my instructions sheet. I get all my tools ready. And go... Please note that some parts have stickers on, others stamped numbers, just take your time to identify those. Once you know you have everything, it's time to identify which parts go how... I recommend laying out all your fittings on a flat surface, alphabetical order. With this sideboard, find your middle bit, then sides, after top and bottom. When looking at instructions, don't just look at your current or next picture step, go through it all so that you understand where bits go and why they are there. Yes, this bit took bit of time for me, again, I wasn't rushing, and I didn't fancy redoing things. So, by myself, it took me around 3 hours to assembly this. I've found the instructions good and quite easy to follow, although it does help if you have a bit of curious and detective mind. I didn't rush. The only thing I would also add here, at the end, the M bits x 8, little plastic clear stoppers with screws- don't know what they are for exactly or where exactly do they go, so not knowing their function, I didn't put them on. If anyone has worked this out and is willing to share, please comment here. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the sideboard. Thanks.

Slightly different to the image, but still nice.
My product wasn't exactly the same as the image suggests; from the outside, it's identical, but behind my door were actually two shelves I had to fit rather than one. It's more storage, so it doesn't matter to me, but the lack of accuracy was a little concerning. Also, contrary to the image, there is actually backing provided for both sections. You can't really have the open side backless because the glass panels will slide out, as they're only balanced on some ledges. There were a few inconsistencies in the instructions, which caused me to restart a few times, as an inexperienced builder. Physically, the handiwork is pretty easy to construct. As a few others mentioned, there is a strange smell on the wood, but not nearly potent enough for it to bother me - it was only really noticeable when you stick your head into the cupboard and actively try to smell it. The hinges aligned fine, they just looked like they wouldn't before I adjusted them. The boarding/panelling for the back of the shelves are very flimsy, so be careful with those as you only get one shot at nailing them in. The LEDs work great, you just need to make sure you've joined the cables correctly. The whole thing looks really nice, and the door has a nice little shine to it.

Really nice unit!
Really nice unit for the money. Not to difficult to build. Instructions where easy enough to follow. I purposely left the backing off as I thought it looks better without it. Leds are good but I'm going to replace them with Tapo smart strip to complement my other Tapo devices. Otherall, I'm very happy with it!

It's okay for the money
Bought this as a side u it to put my Internet router and phone on , the instructions weren't very clear at all and the assembly not the easiest , the matt white was discoloured in places which was disappointing looked like white that turned a nicotine yellow it's nice enough when assembled cheap cheerful does the job but be warned any remote control puts the lights off and on! I wondered why my lights kept turning on by themselves it wasn't it was the volume buttons on my sky remote that was switching the lights off and on crazy!
