I am so impressed with this product, I bought this for my Aunt who recently got an iPad, she liked my cover which is magnetic so it starts up or shuts down just by opening or closing the cover but she also wanted something to protect the back of her iPad too, which mine doesn’t do so she was really pleased when I found this cover for her and I was too as my cover came from Apple and cost £55 where as this cover cost me £12.99 and I believe it’s a far superior cover. As well as covering the back of the iPad not only the front and having the magnetic closure she wanted, it also seems to be much more durable and an easier material to keep clean. I thought it would have been expensive to buy a decent cover for these new 10.2” iPads but I’m very pleasantly surprised not only with the price but more importantly with the quality of this cover.

I only wanted this type of cover for my iPad so that I could fold the cover back which allows you to stand the iPad on your knee unsupported. I was not prepared for the high quality of the design when it arrived. It has a solid clear slightly frosted plastic back which allows you to see the Apple logo thus not detracting from the design of your expensive iPad. The front cover has a rubbery feel to it in which ever colour you choose. All this at a fraction of the cost of the official Apple cover. Get one!

Arrived just now . I am just so so thrilled with the red “cover”. It does exactly what it says I.e it closers down when you put cover down. The only difference is that with the old style cover there was a Apple sign on its base, with this one the Apple sign is on the base of the iPad itself, and shows through the base of the cover. It’s lightweight, it’s just brilliant. I bought my updated iPad last Monday, the red one was not in stock at the Apple store, and was I think about £34/£45.Thanks so much Procase.

Hard plastic back that curves over edges of iPad Air 2019. Cut outs for all ports , camera and buttons as well as speakers and microphone. The back clips on over iPad edges with extra bits of plastic that seem a bit sharp and may have marked the iPad edges. Time will tell when I remove it. The back hard section is translucent so Apple logo is visible. Fold over cover has a nice feel, smooth shiny esq on outside an soft smooth velor feel. Clicks and magnetically sticks well with small Two different ways to fold and stand screen. Both work well and support the screen, occasionally it can fall down on the more upright way. it is just a lightweight case as it says in title so not sure how protective it would be if dropped. The case doesn’t add much to thickness so it can go inside other sleeves for extra padding. Small pro case logo on front bottom right corner engraved in but doesn’t detract from look.

I have had a number of iPad's and covers and this one is great. My banking app is on my iPad so I have had to take it out with me to make online payments since Covid. I am quite precious with tech and have had a couple of accidents where the hard plastic rear has slid off things like guitar cases. Fortunately even after landing corner down on a concrete floor the iPad was undamaged. The fold over cover is more grippy so I remember to put this side down to stop it sliding on uneven surfaces. Saved from disaster. What more could you want?
