Perfect for me after rotator cuff surgery
I wanted something I could use in the shower so that I could wash my hair sitting down, without worrying about maintaining my balance. For me this was much better than more chair like and more expensive options because it is very light and very easy to move around with my left (non-dominant) arm and lets me reach behind my back to wash there. I take it in and out of the shower, so it's not in my wife's way, and I also use it for post surgery exercises that require me to sit with my back against a door using pulleys. It is comfortable to sit on, the material on the seat does not feel cold, it dries off readily after the shower. I weigh 185 pounds and this seems entirely sturdy for me. I'm five 8 1/2 inches tall, I like to sit higher up so I have the height adjusted to its tallest setting. But height is very easy to adjust. After my recover we will find this a handy stool to use for other purposes including the garden. Good product, good price.

Great customer service
I had to order this product twice due to FedEx losing my first order during transit. When I asked customer service for a refund, it was given back with no problems. After I got my refund I reordered the same product, and they gave me free 2 day shipping on my second order (at least I got it much sooner than the expected date). Would recommend, great customer service. The stool itself was very easy to assemble, no tools and took less than 10 minutes. It fits perfect in my shower bath, quite sturdy (doesn't wobble), and doesn't weigh much so it's easy to lift/move around if needed. Very satisfied.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble & adjust height
I had achilles surgery and needed something for the shower and for getting ready in the mornings. This stool was perfect! I put it together myself with ease. It is very sturdy. I used it in the shower and it didn't slip at all. I then easily adjusted the legs and used it at my bathroom mirror to get ready. I am a heavier person and it did not buckle or bend under my weight at all, very sturdy. Great purchase... I only wished I'd purchased it before my surgery and had it ready the same day.

Useful and comfortable shower stool
I have a dislocated/enlarged disc in my lower back. It's very easy to have this reoccur, and I have weakness in my one leg from standing too long. Our shower stall is pretty small, and this just fits in it. I am able to wash up independently, which is a huge bonus for me and my self esteem. I am not that old, so being able to still do some normal things with this injury, means a lot. It is sturdy, I have not slipped off of it at all. The seat is comfortable. Some times, the seats are all metal or plastic, incredibly uncomfortable, and leave imprints if you take a longer shower. No such thing here, and I highly recommend it.

Smaller footprint than most, decently sturdy, and thin pad for you to sit on.
They installed a pair of idiotic shower inserts in my shower, which have a kind of bench on both ends, each sitting are starts out wider and narrows to nothing in a short distance, which might be tolerable for children, however sucks for any adults to sit on. Other ones I tried were too long and/or too wide.I have tried 16 prior shower chairs and a variety of buckets to sit on while showering, this is the one I am keeping.

This is a great product
I can be unsteady on my feet. A friend loaned be a stool that is fairly wide. I have used it for many years but there is not much space to stand in the shower and as I get older it has not worked so well. I have been feeling I may fall when standing. I decided to get a smaller one. I searched to find something I may like. I bought this one because of the description and reviews. And the pretty color. I am very pleased with it. I was amazed at how easy it was to put together. It is comfortable. I like also that you can adjust the leg length easily. Other sellers sell it for a much larger price.

Perfect
This stool is well built and easy to lift. It is sturdy with good "feet." It took me longer to open the shipping box than it did to assemble the unit. Big enough to seat me comfortably and small enough not to take up too much room in my shower stall.

SAI Safety Bath Stool Collapsed After Several Years Use
While this bath stool generally worked well for almost three and a half years, it suddenly collapsed without warning today while in use. It has been used by only one individual daily in a shower stall. That person has never weighed more than 190 pounds, and the product is stated to be good for people up to 300 pounds. The cause of the collapse was a complete break through of one of the aluminum legs right next to the central attachment point (see pictures). This represents a potentially dangerous problem with this product that buyers should be aware of if they intend to use it for several years.

I like it
I really like the padded seat and the variation of height. It has been excellent through recuperation from back surgery. It does have a winder leg base than maybe ideal for my 1980's bathtub but it never has moved from where I placed it. It is one of the few that can sit a little higher - lots are low. I feel confident even now when I can now take a shower without assistance. And the quality is excellent since it is made in Taiwan

My first concession to old age.
This clever thing is very comfortable and sturdy. I was a little leery of such a bathroom aid, but now taking a shower is a pleasant experience again. So glad I got this.

Economical solution for a short term mobility problem.
Good for a tall person. Works in bathtub or shower. Lightweight and simple to assemble. The only thing I worry about is how to sanitize the open cell foam padding on the top.

Excellent and Bare Minimum
Note that this is the bare minimum. If you are a fit individual and had a knee surgery so you can't stand in the shower/tub, but are able to get yourself into the shower/tub, then this is perfect.
