TAOCOCO Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver, Long Range 5.0 Bluetooth Adapter Transmitter for TV Home Stereo PC Headphone, AptX Low Latency & AptX HD Bluetooth, Optical RCA AUX 3.5mm, (B6)

Have had the use of this for about a week and in most ways I am completely happy and would buy again. Just thought I should pass on that I was surprised to find it restricted transmitting though windows, with the signal breaking up at 100 ft. line of sight (Bluetooth 5.0 to 5.0) I have however checked it outdoors and it transmitted 260 ft as advertised, and it transmits well through out my home (2900 sq ft) Pairs easily even with older versions of Bluetooth.Update 5/6/19 Works well enough to use at home and in our church so have purchased two. Have used it with 3 different headphones and 2 speakers. One caution with a pair of Sony WH-H900N headphones (Bluetooth 4.1 ) when you reach the end of its range (plenty far in distance) instead of the signal dropping out it breaks up with a loud almost crackle or crash like sound. This could be harmful to voice coils and is not very nice on your hearing. This doesn't happen with unamplified Bluetooth signals

Good sound & paired right up with Bose headphones. Using as blue tooth transmitter for Onkyo receiver/amp connected to TV/cable, CD & DVD. Instructions aren't the greatest/easiest to understand but, I got it right on the first try. Apparently the product has a strong signal & good range for blue tooth because on start up it was broadcasting thru a set of Klipsh computer speakers on a different floor of the house! The computer wasn't on and I don't believe that speaker system is blue tooth!! Anyone have any ideas?

I wanted this to provide a wireless link from my TV to earbud headphones so that I could adjust the volume for me without being too loud for the rest of my family. This unit works very well and I can even hear the sound in the next room. Sound quality with my headphones is impressive, this will improve when you buy headphones supports the Bluetooth 5.0 low latency protocol. It is supplied with leads for various connections including optical and a neat, compact USB power supply.

This is a simple to use item and does what it says on the box and more, very easy to set up and works fine, very clear sound. I can now listen my Bluetooth outside going through 4 solid walls, the unit hasn't missed a bit, not sure on the actual measurement but it must be 200 ft far or more.

Sound quality is acceptable except when the device starts charging. Sometimes, but not always, it starts producing an enormous amount of digital-sounding static. This will only go away once charging stops or if you unplug the USB cable. There doesn't seem to be a way to prevent it from using the internal battery and just power itself from USB.Setup is very easy. I had no trouble connecting it to my portable speakers. And the range is enough for me. It can transmit through several walls to a room 20 feet away without losing signal. So no problems there.

Would not recommend.After months of use, I feel obligated to inform future buyers that this device is inferior to my smaller, simpler, less expensive Tao Tronics Bluetooth Transmitter/receiver units which outperform this one in range and quality of sound.Quite a disappointment.08-13-2021 Inferior range continues to break at distances of less than 30 feet while other bluetooth transmitters NOT advertised as "Long Range" outperform this by tens of feet.Pleased to see that it is currently unavailable.

NOTE: the TAOCOCO device have an in-built battery and it is very convenient. I have stuck the it to the back of my TV using dual lock tape, so it's all hidden away. I've connected two headphones to the device.The Quality: nice and sturdy, doesn't feel like it will break in your hands and would likely survive a drop from a reasonable height.Installation: was very simple. connected it to the TVs optical audio port, paired each headphone individually and configured the TV to only output sound through optical et voila sound was being transmitted through both headphones only.Sound Quality: I have noticed a little crackling in the sound when you first switch the device and pair your headphones in the first minute, but after that it works smoothly, and the sound is great. There is a very very slight delay in lip sync when you are watching certain things, I've primarily noticed it on Youtube clips but it's hardly noticeable unless you are looking for it.Overall: very happy with the purchase and would certainly recommend it for those looking to use.

Easy setup. Nice design. Smart input detector. Visible red and blue lights. Decent battery. All good except for one minor problem; two hours later it still won’t pair.Defect? Design flaw? Backward compatibility issue to prior Bluetooth versions?Who knows? Who cares?I made the mistake of ordering two - sight unseen.Oh well, Returns here we come!
