Cracked on 3rd time use. It was about 40 degree outside and I ran warm water over the cup and it cracked. Be aware if you are going to use it in cold weather.

I got this set for my 8 year old's week at Girl Scout Camp. She loves it and it did exactly what it promised.

Not for microwave use
So far so good. Only used the set for a week in a barracks setting. Hand washing and some microwave use. The bamboo heats up very hot while making oatmeal in the microwave, best to just add hot water for heated items. The cup is versatile but I worry the handle will break in baggage during travel. Good for camping.

Coffee needs to be cold to use these included cups with handle.
First use. Camping. Poured hot coffee into orange bamboo cups and before my eyes watched as the handle area began seeping then began to melt. Got one cup poured out while seeping the coffee out its cracks. The second cup sat just a few seconds more and actually melted inward around handle while seeping the coffee out its cracks.

This kit was perfect for a quick weekend camping trip with Girl Scouts. The items were durable for hot food/washing and the size was great for an adult! On a personal note, when I first received the kit it was missing the knife (which I replaced for my camping trip with a cheap piece from home). I emailed Andy and Melanie to see about replacing the piece and they took care of me right away! The completed set arrived less than a week after I contacted them. Kudos for great customer service!

Perfect, except for the cup/mug
Thank goodness I AM not a coffee drinker! After only being dropped one time, the cup/mug included with this set experienced a handle failure and resulting hole in the side. NOW that component services as a perfect holder of the flatware included and/or writing instruments and/or etc... which is not in a liquid state.
