Good quality but nothing fancy
Good quality but nothing fancy, not really heavy duty but definitely does the job! All Plastic, the door swings out on 2 hinges. It works great as a door for building a "secret fort" for the grandkids!

Durable access panel
I had my drywall cut downstairs to access the upstairs bath/shower drain. I decided to place this panel up instead of sheet rock after the repair was made. Thank goodness!!! The leak wasn’t corrected and water spewed out of the panel. I was able to open it and have the problem fixed by a different plumber. The surrounding sheetrock did not get wet.

Light Weight Ceiling Access Panel
A water leak from the kitchen caused damage to the ceiling in the basement. Instead of doing a drywall patch it made sense for an access panel to easily get to the water lines in the ceiling. The panel needed to blend into the ceiling and the metal ones are heavy, have a locking latch, and noticable. This panel was lightweight, thin, and the door clips securely at 4 places on the frame. Once the opening was squared and cut to size, we used a construction adhesive and clamps to secure the frame to the ceiling while the adhesive dried. After the clamps were removed, we caulked the edges and repainted. The panel blends right in with the ceiling. The panel door is secure and clips into place. If you need an access panel that is lightweight and accessed in infrequently, this is a good bet.

Works pretty well
After reading a number of warnings here about the panels clips breaking easily, I VERY carefully removed the panel from its frame. Got that done with no broken clips. Then applied construction adhesive to the back side of the frame and inserted it into the hole I had cut in my drywall. After making sure it was level and plumb, I used LOTS of clamps to hold the frame in place. Left it there overnight. After removing the clamps, I primed painted the frame and gave the panel the same treatment off the frame. When the paint was dry, I put the panel into the frame (again being careful not to break any clips). I then gave the whole shebang another coat of paint and it now blends seamlessly into the wall. The panel gave me access to parts of my HVAC system which was handily installed butting up right to wall. Works fine.

Excellent Hardware
This was super easy to install, great adhesion, and sturdy, which is extremely crucial and valuable to me. I will probably buy more of these in the future. Great value.

simple and easy to install
Beware that there is a raised rim on the back which requires an inset application. In other words, you can't just glue it to a flat surface. But, still happy with the product.

Great access doors
Used these to create behind the wall access to an attic bedroom. They are the large size I wanted but were difficult to install due to having to cut a few 2x4’s to accommodate the size.

It’s just OK. A bit CHEAP.
So I just installed this panel the other day… panel in my opinion is a bit cheap and it is a bit hard to remove the center opening panel without breaking any of the clips once installed. I wouldn’t recommend, I would go with a much sturdier panel.
