It’s just has a lot of chillies and it’s stinginess/spiciness overwhelms any mango flavour. Not enjoyable.

I've had this before at my sadly missed Indian buffet. I forget what the owner told me it was, but I don't think it was mango. It was pickled something or other, and most of the people I went with did not like it, as it has a very strong flavor, plus bits of sliced pits that you have to avoid while eating (just like this does). I liked it, in moderation, and this reminds me exactly of it.There is a hint of mango sweetness, a hint of spice, but it really is all about that pickled flavor. Could it also be fermented? Because don't think of pickled cucumbers. You've had to have eaten this before to understand, kind of like stinky tofu.I find it interesting the company tells you not to refrigerate after opening.Came well packed in bubble wrap, safety sealed.

A little bit of this stuff goes a long way! It's quite spicy and very flavorful. It of course pairs well with many Indian dishes, and I find it also adds a nice flavor to eggs, rice, and even sandwiches. I think it may be an acquired taste for many though, with such a strong flavor you probably either love it or you hate it.

Don't buy this. It's mostly stems and hulls.

I like these mixed with a bit of Taj Mild Mango Pickles. If they could combine the two I would be in heaven. This one has the heat and sourness I want, but the mango pieces get hard as bone (I thought it was bone at first.) Taj has great texture and more nuanced flavors with a slighter sourness, and better mouth feel. This one will also cost you a few dollars less than Taj products, so give it a try yourself.
