Do not buy! Cheap quality. Internal charging port fell out after 3 months. It is on it's way to it's final resting at the dump!

For the price, this is a great video camera. Not gonna pretend that it is the best I have ever had, but at the price point it is worth it. The shell is a light weight plastic, so it doesn't weigh much. It does require a memory card, an SD to be exact, like most camera. Pretty simple to figure out, though. The SD insert is on the bottom and you can tell it is inserted by the spring motion. There is a light on the front that has an easy turn on button (I know because my baby keeps pressing it). It goes to sleep when the screen closes and there is no view finder lens thing. It's just the screen. The screen of course flips around. It charged through the camera via a cord insert on the inside of the screen under a silicone flap so you have to charge it open unless you purchase an extra battery and charger. It also some with a case and CD software installation disk. It also has the hand strap and the input part for a stand.All in all, worth it for the price.

Save your money and upgrade! My experience it's this camera was extremely disappointing. The picture quality was my biggest issue. The picture quality was awful in every respect: light metering, color, sharpness - you name it. If there was alight source in the picture (a lamp or a window) the picture became all washed out. I tried to compensate manually but it did very little. I get the fact that this is not an expensive camera, but should that mean you have to settle for poor quality photos? And if you call yourself an HD camera it should bear some resemblance to that. It's possible that I had a defective model but I wouldn't chance it again based on my experience. Save your money and buy up! I ended up returning this.

Works great for those situations when you can't risk a GOOD vidcam. The controls and function are just like my Sony, but this goes with me in the car and into clubs for pretty good video. Not good in low light conditions, so be aware. Great value and convenience.

I bought this camcorder for my 8-year-old, and she used it frequently and carefully for about 7 months. Then one day it showed an error screen, conked out, and refused to turn on anymore. I had purchased an accident warranty and tried to use that to get it replaced, but (I assume) because it was not the result of an accident, I was told to contact the manufacturer. Yeah, good luck with that. I asked Amazon customer service for help, and even they couldn't figure out how to get a hold of the manufacturer. Thankfully, Amazon worked with me and found a workable solution (definite kudos to them!), but I don't expect them to keep replacing cameras that randomly go kaput. Moral of the story: cheaper is fine (I may just go with a cheap one again since it's for a child), but if you want something that actually has manufacturer support behind it in case of parts going bad before their time, you're better off going with a known brand.

Amazon should remove this product or at the very least make the seller remove the HD. If you have an original i-phone from the year 2000 then use it instead because it would be better than this waste of money. If you are perfectly still and have the camera on a stand it will still produce blurry pictures even with the anti motion blur feature. Videos are so dark that you can't make out what your looking at. I wasn't expecting a whole lot for the price but come on, the thing is unusable to me.

All in all GREAT product...however the zoom didn't do as well as happened...could be my settings...Will try the HD setting in future

Sound quality was terrible, battery life leaves more to be desired and video quality was not all that great. Purchased this for doing school interviews and it did the job. But if looking for a good video camera to use for family videos or dance recitals I woould purchase a different one. I does have every feature of the more expense ones it just lacks the video and audio quality
