Works great
I had a very old fan in the bathroom of my 1930 house. We updated the bathroom and installed a fiberglass shower surround topped with ceramic or porcelain tile about the surround. The old fan was not powerful enough, and after a shower, water was running down the tiles and the adjoining exterior wall. This fan is much more powerful and cleared up the water condensation problem. Only downside; very loud.

Blows a good bit of air. Overall seems well made.
I bought the 8" one. The insert that came with it says its rated at 500 cfm and the 6" one is 300 cfm. It blows quite a bit of air, certainly more than the typical bathroom fan but I suspect those ratings are a bit overstated. IAC it works fine. On mine the yellow wire was the ground wire. It's fairly loud, you would not want to spend the day sitting near it. Five feet from it is 75 db at 7500 hz, my regular bath fan is 66 db at 3000 hz.

Easy to install exhaust fan
Easy to install and does a good job.

High quality fan, strong and quiet using a fan speed control.
High quality fan, strong and quiet using a fan speed control. Best to use lever nuts for connections, would not use wire nuts. One issue would be the gauge size of the stranded ground wire it is very thin, had to carefully remove the insulation with a razor blade and still barely had enough wire there. The hot and nuetral are a bit better.

FORGET OTHER (WEAK) BATHROOM FANS! THIS ONE IS THE BOMB!
Great construction, amazing flow rates! This thing puts ALL other bathroom fans to shame! Conventional is very expensive, this one is comparatively cheap AND FAR BETTER!

8 inch Exhaust Fan is Not the Quality I Expected
I write GOOD reviews and BAD reviews and am super objective. Sadly, the construction of this fan is NOT quality material or workmanship by any low standard. I just can't believe that this fan is rated 4.5 stars. It is noisy as the dickens, the butterfly dampers do not operate properly and the electrical supply wires are about 8 inches long with 18 guage wire. As soon as you look at it, you notice the small wire size that was a red flag. Not to say it is the minimum wire size that would carry the running motor amps, but golly gee, you could have at least made it 16 gauge for easy hook up by your average Joe. The ground wire is even smaller. Every corner that could be cut to come in at a low price point was cut. I guess people have become accustomed to this and see it as satisfactory. Watch out for these Chineseum products. They will get you EVERY TIME...sooner or later.

Works great
I replace my fan in the main bathroom, and this was an easy install. And it works great than the original fan, it gets the steam out of the room and the room is a lot cooler. I had to hard wire it since it did not come with a plug to plug in like the original one.
