PMBoK) und unzählige Bücher, die das Thema mehr oder weniger akademisch und mitunter durchaus "verkopft" betrachten. Dieses Buch schafft den Spagat zwischen Theorie und Praxis außerordentlich gut, baut auf einem breiten Wissenschatz auf und kann zudem dabei helfen, sich für eine professionelle Projektmanagement-Zertifizierung vorzubereiten.* Theorie und Praxis: Die Konzepte sind verständlich und anschaulich erklärt.* Vorbereitung für eine Zertifizierung: Es sind sogar Beispiel-Fragen enthalten.* Lesen im Zug & Flieger: Man kann das Buch super "nebenher" lesen und zwischendurch Pause machen.Und: Es ist ganz sicher nicht zum Einschlafen. Das Buch ist aus gutem Grund ein Bestseller.

This book is absolutely straightforward unlike some of the more complicated materials that are being offered in project management. It is just an enjoyable read--the author (Eric Verzuh) explains the texts in a language that is understood and unambiguous.I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with him, though, inadvertently--I called the office and expected a receptionist to pick up the phone, to my surprise, it was Mr. Verzuh on the other end--I was shocked. He was very receptive, polite, personable, and listened to what I had to say.You will, certainly, get your money's worth.
