Great Little Grinder
TL:DR Great grinder for the money. I've had no issues grinding whole chickens that have been cut small enough for the chute. Lots of accessories, spare blades and more. Just read the manual and don't put it in the dishwasher. I bought this grinder due to getting ripped off by a local butcher. I felt I was getting less and less meat and weighed my box and got 33# when I paid for 40# and it seemed like I was getting more skin/bone than I should. Enter my search for a grinder. My parents have a commercial grade grinder that could take off my entire arm, and while I appreciate it's quality, I don't have that kind of cash. I decided to bite the bullet and give this one a shot. When I opened the box I wasn't impressed with the plastic body but it does keep it light weight. Mostly aluminum parts that are nicely finished, that's why you can't run it through the dishwasher. I grind 40# of chicken backs every month or so for dog food. I've also ran a few whole chickens that were in the freezer a bit longer than I'd like. This little guy has run flawlessly. Read the manual, grind your meat a bit frosty and don't put it in the dishwasher! I've had the grinder since Jan 2018 (July 2019 now) and I just finished another box of backs. No problems as usual. The foot pedal is probably my favorite part of it. No sticky meat buttons. The chute is a touch small width wise, but long enough to keep my dumb fingers safe when the included plunger doesn't want to smash a stubborn rib cage down the chute. (Don't try this at home) Cleaning is a breeze. I hand wash it all, dry with a fresh towel, being sure to get all drops of water off, and let it sit out for about an hour before it goes back in the box and into the garage. Still looks brand new. I feel like I've already got my money's worth out of it and am glad it still runs strong.

Perfect Grinder for Pet Food!
Perfect Grinder for Pet Food! I got this grinder to make pet food, and it’s been great so far. It handles everything—meat, organs, and 10 lbs of chicken leg quarters—without any issues. It came well-packaged with several grinding plates and sausage attachments, plus a 3-year warranty, which is awesome. Definitely get the foot pedal—it’s worth the extra cost! It’s not dishwasher safe, but that’s to be expected. I looked at LEM and Weston grinders but didn’t want to pay the high price, and this one has been a perfect budget-friendly alternative. The instructions are easy to follow and include details for making dog food.

Good for the kitchen
When I got it I was a little worried because it was so light. The book called for almost frozen meat. My first batch was frozen but flexible and it bogged down a few times but always powered through. The second batch was thawed on the outside but frozen in the middle and did much better. The auger never really grabbed the meat and pulled it in like some other grinders I have used Leading to a lot of work pushing everything through. It does go together pretty easily and cleanup was as easy as you could expect. The grind was pretty good as well and the assortment of heads was nice. I did 6lbs of pork and it was a bit of an ordeal. I would not want to do a high volume of meat through this This is more a kitchen gadget than a processing tool but it's way better than my kitchenaid grinder attachment. For the price I feel like I got what I paid for and for my needs it will do fine.

Great grinder, very satisfied
I looked at several meat grinders and I selectrd the STX International Turboforce II 4000 Electric Meat Grinder becase it apprearrd to meet what I intened to use it for, and, it did! And, it fit within my budget, big plus. 90% of what I feed my dog comes from home made food. My past process was to cut up all the different meats, boil them together, let them cool, put them into a blender, which I had to blend 2 to 3 times because of the large amount of meat, then put in containers to freeze. Now, I still cut the meat up, then grind it with the 12mm grinding plate, then put it into my Instant Pot for 35mins, drain the meat and put into a large bowl to cool, then put in containers to freeze. You can use any kind of meats, but these are the ones I use for my dog. Beef liver, beef heart, Chuck roast, chicken gizzards, chicken hearts, chicken necks, chicken portions and chicken backs. I cut the chicken portions into two pieces and the chicken backs into five, and gently use the meat pusher, and use the high setting. The foot pedal is a great option because it frees up both of your hands. I also cut up carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts, using the pusher on low speed. I do use a small amount of quality dry kibble, and mix it with the ground meat, and I sprinkle on a little ginger powder and turmeric with powdered egg shells that I make. I also use a little multivitamin probiotic powder. I am completely satisfied with the STX International Turboforce II 4000 Electric Meat Grinder, the noise level isn’t great, but I hardly noticed it once I got to grinding. I think this is a great product and it certainly suits my needs, and my dog!

Think Twice Before Buying: This Meat Grinder Comes with Hidden Costs!
I purchased this meat grinder expecting a reliable kitchen appliance. Unfortunately, it stopped working after minimal use. When I filed a warranty claim, I was shocked by the company's unethical practices and poor customer service. The manufacturer demanded that I pay for shipping both ways-- to and from their repair/inspection center - a cost of $50-$80, which is 25-40% of the product's price! This outrageous requirement came because my claim was filed just after their arbitrary 30-day window. Per their warranty, users are responsible for shipping if warranty request is made after the first 30 days . Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful when I pointed out that these terms violate the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Their warranty terms are overly restrictive and seem designed to discourage customers from making legitimate claims. It's clear they're trying to avoid responsibility for their faulty product. I urge potential buyers to steer clear of this company and their products. Their unethical practices take advantage of consumers who expect fair treatment when purchasing a supposedly quality item. If you've had similar experiences with this company, I encourage you to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It's crucial to hold companies accountable for such deceptive and unfair practices. In conclusion, save yourself the headache and money - avoid this meat grinder and this manufacturer at all costs. There are surely better options out there from companies that actually stand behind their products and respect consumer rights.

Absolute Excellent Product and I Can't Ask For More!!!
I normally do not get to be the one who leaves the first review on a product, but it looks like my review is going to be the first so I am going to do my best and tell you all about my 1st month's experience with this STX grinder. My husband and I have been wanting a new meat grinder for about a year and been searching for one that was, what you might consider, a Full Kit with everything needed for meat grinding and sausage stuffing, but all we could find was grinders that only had 3 different sizes of grinding plates, 1 cutting blade, no stuffing tubes, etc. We were also looking for a grinder that had a larger diameter of meat stuffing tunnel (the place where you stuff the meat into) and a larger diameter of where the meat comes out, but most all of them we looked at were (as we found out) what is considered a smaller size #8 kitchen grinder and not the larger size #12 grinder. When we saw that this new Turbo II show up on the market, we saw it was a larger size #12 grinder, came with 5 different sizes of grinding plates, 1 beaner plate, 3 sizes of sausage tubes with a kubbe attachment and "get this" - a foot pedal control you can use if you want for two hands free while grinding or stuffing sausage! Here's my Pros - kind of redundant, but what the heck: 1) The price - Can't Be Beat for all you get with this package 2) This is a very nice looking grinder (we bought the black one) and the chrome accents make it look very nice on my kitchen counter 3) It's a Size #12 Grinder and not a size #8 4) It includes a total of 5 Grinding Plate with sizes of holes ranging from 4mm up to 12 mm and also what they call a Wagon Wheel Plate for those large sausage grinds 5) It also includes 1 Beaner Plate - this is used for stuffing sausage only and not for grinding, but it allows for the sausage to be stuffed into the casing faster and smoother - it worked Great when we made some Italian Sausage last weekend 6) Of course, the 3 stuffing tubes and kubbe attachment are a nice addition 7) Best of all, the added foot pedal is nothing short of fantastic as one person can do most any job with this grinder - especially when you are stuffing sausage with it 8) Instructions - Well written with many photos on how to assemble the parts for different purposes. Also includes hints on grinding correctly, sausage stuffing and how to clean all of the parts My Cons: 1) The only thing I was a little disappointed with was, at first with this unit, that is was somewhat loud, but I had not read a special note that came with the grinder. They had a note that states that the grinder would be somewhat loud when you first started using it, but after 5 to 10 hours of use, it would start getting quieter. We have used this unit for around 15 hours so far and it has quieted down to a normal sound (where you can talk) much to our satisfaction. 2) This is really not a Con, but I had to put this in with my review someplace. When we first got the grinder, we read the instructions on how to clean all of the parts (do NOT use your dishwasher) and cleaned them for our first use properly. We then reassembled the grinder and had 2 lbs of a chuck roast all cut up and ready to grind. We started grinding and the meat that came out of the front of the grinder was coming out very slowly and it looked like "MUSH" and we were quite disappointed. My husband (I don't read instructions) looked in the instructions and found where the company had states clearly, "Make sure that the Cutting Blade is Inserted Correctly" as otherwise your grinder would not work properly. Well, of course, we checked our cutting blade and yes we had installed it backwards:)!!! We took the cutting blade out, turned it the other (correct) way and the result was "Grinding Perfection". So the moral to this story is make sure and install your cutting blade correctly and/or read the instructions before using this product. No other cons at this time, but if I run into anything, I will edit my review and let you all know. I might mention that as far as what this company states about their Quad Air Cooling making the unit last longer, I cannot comment on this as we have only had it for a month, but their statement about this new cooling system keeping the grinder cool while using it - this "Does" work. Two weeks ago, we ran this grinder for over 3 hours in one sitting and it was as cool after the 3 hours of use as when we first started. Signed, One Very Happy Customer
