This is an incredibly delightful product, tasty, healthy, well, just generally delicious. I you have more than one container of this lovely stuff, place the unopened one upside down for a long as you can, then when you are ready to open it the oil will have had risen to the bottom, if that makes sense. You will find it much easier to stir when you open it, I can live with the fact I have to stir it as it is lovely. UPDATE: Having sung the praises of this product, I feel it only fair that I should add a caveat regarding the price. My first experience of it was a purchase from Holland & Barratt, 750g for £2.99, beside it on the same shelf, 1k £6.99, guess which I choose. This went on for about 6 months until H&B realised, quick eh? OK yes I did get it from Amazon for £6.61, some days later I noticed it was £8.50, unbelievable. Anyway since then I have sourced it from B&M at £3.99 for 750g. Meridian appear to stop supplying stores that sell below £7 so please shop around, happy crunching and eat more by being diligent. UPDATE Mk11: If you find you have an urge to contact Meridian, don’t bother wasting your time they will not engage in communication be it praise about their product or in the case of my last attempt; to make them aware of a batch that was not so much ‘Crunchy’ more ‘Whole Nut’. Breakfast took me up to elevenses with that lot :-(

I've used this in so many different things I've made. The oil takes a bit of getting used to and once squeezed out on the side of the tub, the peanut butter is a bit stodgy. But with a bit of energy, (maybe munch some nuts to build the energy up) it comes good and is a delicious addition.

Someone recommended this peanut butter to me so when I saw it at a reduced special price I ordered some. It is apparently a proper peanut butter so is not as sweet as the stuff I am used to. It does also look quite unappealing in the pot, the oil rises to the top and the whole lot is a brownish sludge colour, but just stir it before spreading it and it is fine.

This product arrived promptly and well packaged. I found the peanut butter's texture to be a little looser than I was expecting, even after giving it a good stir it is a thick pouring consistency, but the flavour is delicious and hopefully I can spread it thinner and measure it more easily than with a more solid butter. We are sharing this large size of butter with the wild birds, and I used a couple of large table spoonfuls in some suet cake I have made - it smells really peanutty and the birds love it. So what with using it in baking, and us liking some peanut butter in a ham sandwich, I am sure I will buy this product again.

This is a quality product which I have purchased from several Amazon suppliers & have found this one to be the best for freshness, not needing stirred & being carefully packaged.

I was shocked when I first opened this as it was swimming in oil - and yes, it does say that you have to stir it to mix the peanut butter - but that is IF you have a strong enough snd large enough spoon to stir it with. Plus, the oil goes everywhere and leaks out of the container. I’ll just stick to buying smaller jars from the supermarket next time!

I have ordered this product previously. It is exceptional + NO added ingredients, just 100% peanuts. Only downer is you have to give it a good stir before use, but worth it!

I have bought this many times. The taste is good, and the texture is uniformly crunchy (compared with some other brands which vary in how many lumps there are). The oil settles out a bit, but you just have to stir it back in. I try and buy it when it's on offer.

It’s what you expect for organic peanut butter with crunchy bits. It’s delicious . You will not regret this one
