So helpful!! This tester is so easy to use. I tired a more complicated meter and just got confused. This one works great, quickly, and actually showed me that one of my products was not working due to a faulty cord. Once the cord was replaced everything worked great. It is such a comfort to know that everything is working as it should with my grounding products!

This was important to get it as I got a grounding mat and needed to test it. Did its job well.

The media could not be loaded. Hi y’all. I bought my hooga grounding mat a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I just wanted to make sure that this mat was actually grounding me so I bought this tester. It works great as long as you connect it to the outlet protector as shown in the picture. Didn’t work otherwise.I was almost about to return this product, but then decided to test it this way, and I’m so glad I did because now I am 100% confident that my product has continuity. Now I just have to wait for my sheet to arrive and I will be able to test this on the sheets as well. 👍🏻

It wil take a while before I know that these grounding mats work as expected. However I bought an after-market tester and the mats tested that they were working as designed. I wish the company would have included the tester with the order. There's no other way to know. You can test the electrical outlet with the testing device included, but that device doesn't test the actual mat.

It's really simple to use, just as described. I purchased it for my peace of mind to test my grounding sheets, etc.

I purchased one to test my multiple mats. It worked for the first couple of days; after that, the green light only came on briefly showing that the battery of the tester was working —also meaning that whatever mat being tested has stopped being grounded. If the green light STAYS on while testing a mat, it means it’s registering electron flow in the mat. Either the tester (probably too poorly made) is malfunctioning or the SIX mats I purchased all stopped working. I think it’s the cheesy tester. I returned it and ordered 2 more, the 2nd one for backup. Received the other 2 astoundingly quick (next day) - but neither worked. I’m planning to buy a more expensive continuity tester. In the meantime, I’ve been using the mats (situated at my favorite places in the house), and I believe my sleep has improved and I have more energy to tackle a bunch of summer projects that kicked off soon after I got the mats.

I wanted to have a tester to check some grounding shoes I am planning to buy. Instructions are a bit convoluted, so I watched a few videos that were posted here on this product site and I learned how to do it. I first tried sticking the ground lead in semi wet soft soil with tall grass and it did not work. Then I found an area where the grass was very short and the soil underneath it was a bit harder. I tested it barefoot and the light came on and stayed on; I put my flip-flops on and the light did not stay one. Now I need to find a pair of 11.5 wide grounding shoes to buy. I tried Harmony 783 grounding shoes but not only are they narrow but they also run a few sizes too small.
