I have a number of rose quartz gua sha, heart shaped. I was intrigued by this innovation, transforming one edge into a smooth ridged surface. It adds a new dimension to the stone, enhancing the utility and functionality of the gua sha.The rose quartz appears to be of good quality. It is translucent, with streaks and instances of pink shades. The stone is nicely polished, affording a shiny and smooth surface. The gua sha has a decent thickness, giving it an appropriate solidity and sturdiness. The contour is rounded, with smooth edges, too. The ridged edge is a series of smooth bump, with no sharp edges. This edge can be used for scraping, smoothing, or can be used to create a 'vibration' like effect by running the edge along a body part.Examination of the gua sha stone found no defects or flaws, no scratches or nicks were discovered. Attached are photos to show real world images, with a ruler for size reference.Overall, it's a quality rose quartz gua sha. I appreciate the innovation and feel that it improves the design. I still like the conventional design, but feel this will have a place in my massage resource kit.Based on these observations, this gua sha earns a 4.75 - 5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

I love this tool. It is well made, very sturdy and smooth. It has a nice long smooth edge like other gua sha tools offer but it also offers two other edges with ridging that I find to really help scrape deeper into my tense muscles. This is a great price at $10.
