I’m Awake!!
When I take my cochlear processor off plus my other ear is basically totally deaf as well.the It’s awkward but it’s small and I can take it with me when I travel. I normally clip it to my pillow and I’ll feel the vibration. Sometimes I clip somewhere on to my pjs. What a life a deaf person lives but what a positive thing it is to helps us! ;) There is a radio that attaches a much bigger gizmo that vibrates much harder. That’s really helpful but not to travel.

The most powerful vibrating alarm I have found yet
I wake up several hours before my partner some days and having a silent alarm is the most obvious solution for that so that I don't disturb them. I've tried smart watches, phones, and other devices that vibrate as an alarm but none hard enough to wake me. this is the only one that worked. I put it in my pocket and use the included clip to pinch the pocket shut. Wakes me up reliably every time. Some of the buttons on it can be loose, however, and the vibration can make them buzz so it isn't completely silent. I've used some tape to mitigate that.

Versatile and dependable and perfect for the hearing impaaired
The sonic Alert is an ideal portable alarm, particularely for the hearing impaired.. It is small and light, battery powered, with a large digital display,, button-controlled display light, buzzer and vibrator alarm,, and easy controls for setting time and alarm. It has lanyard with clip and comes in a zippered, padded fabric case. A neat design at a modest price, durable and dependable. My recent purchase was for a gift. I have been a user for almost five years, a deaf person depending on the reliable Sonic Alert as an alarm and timer.,

Nice size and power
This alarm seems to have an adequate shaker for a battery operated device. I’ll put in fresh batteries for up coming trip.

Strong vibration will wake anyone up. Wish it had a battery low indicator though.
I am very familiar with and like Sonic Alert products so I chose their travel alarm clock when I needed one. It was a good choice although I wish a couple of things were different. This round alarm clock comes with a nice zip around carry bag. It has a tough ribbon with a clip on it to attach it to a pillow case or wherever you set it. That's a good idea so it doesn't get lost or drop out of bed when you're asleep. This unit takes two AA batteries and one AAA one which are included. The smaller battery is for the light on the display and the others are for the alarm. Setting the time and alarm are very simple. No instructions needed. You can choose to wake up by a buzzing/alarm sound, a strong vibration, or both. I am hearing impaired and can't even hear the alarm but I sure can feel the vibration! It's very strong. I love that this clock allows me to infinitely hit the snooze button. I hate when an alarm gives me just one or two chances then stops alerting me to wake up. I usually just fall back to sleep. This one goes until you manually turn the clock off.All that is great and it works wonderfully. It work me up several times with a vibration that I could not ignore. But there are a couple of things that I wish were different about this clock. For one, there is no indicator that the batteries are getting low. They just say that, when the alarm or vibration are weak, to change the batteries. That makes me nervous. If the batteries die, I won't wake up in time. Also, the light that illuminates the time is just a little orange one that points toward the numbers. It is not back light. I don't really care much about that but it seems that the numbers should be lit up by default but, of course, that takes battery power.Otherwise though. this keeps time well, shakes me awake with a very strong vibration, and is portable for travel or to use anywhere that an outlet isn't available. I used it when I slept on the vouch the other night. I put it next to my head clipped to the pillow and it did its thing. I was worried it wouldn't but it came through perfectly. I trust Sonic Alert and have two of their plug in clocks that are wonderful for someone who needs a shaker or a very loud alarm. I will just change the batteries when I sense the vibration is not as strong as usual. Maybe I will get some rechargeable ones and charge them each time I use the clock so I know they are fresh. Either way, this works for me and I am happy to have it. My Fitbit was my alarm but it only vibrates once then stops and I often fell back to sleep.

it is important for deaf using the shaker to wake them under their pillows.

one can clearly see that this is probably one of the best products on the market at the moment
I wasn't quite sure how to rate this product, to be honest. On one hand, one can clearly see that this is probably one of the best products on the market at the moment. But on the other hand, it would still benefit from being a gentler vibrating alarm. For some people, like myself, vibrating alarm is the only solution, as it won't disturb others sleeping in the same bedroom. However, the trophy for the gentlest vibrating alarm I would still give to my own mobile phone. The only trouble with mobiles is that other incoming messages will give vibrations and signals too. This alarm is nice and small, will fit on a palm. Doesn't have extra wires as remote alarms that could annoy to begin with and be accidentally disconnected at night. It has a very user-friendly interface, easy to set up. I like the tiny nightlight to check the time at night. The only disappointment was that the actual vibration is a bit rough, waking up other members as well. On the positive side, however, I got so worried that other members will wake up too that the body eventually learnt waking up on it's own.

Best alarm yet
I've bought many alarms that didn't fit the bill but this does. Will wake you. Doesn't need mains power and is great for when you travel

Whole clock vibrates and wakes you up.
Main thing is that the vibration does indeed wake me up.Just be aware that the entire clock vibrates... It does not have a clock part and a vibrate part, connected by a cord. The clock itself is what vibrates.I keep it in my pillowcase. When vibrating, just fumble for the snooze button. Once it stops shaking, you can then carefully feel for that tricky-to-find Alarm-Off button. It works fine, I like it!Takes 2 AA batteries.

Great vibrating alarm clock!
I absolutely use this thing every time I need to wake up. I am deaf so I can’t hear alarms and also tend to be a heavy sleeper. This vibrating alarm is a life saver and get me up when I need to. I absolutely put my faith in this machine. It appears to be very loud when it beeps but I wouldn’t now I just know that it shakes my pillow really well I absolutely put my faith in this machine. It appears to be very loud when it beeps but I wouldn’t know too well when asleep but I just know that it shakes my pillow really well.
