Seems to work well with no glitches
This is an interesting device that seems to work well, I assume it's recording data accurately. I suggest scanning the QR code in the instruction booklet to make sure you're installing the correct app on your phone. Follow the instructions carefully step by step to link it to your phone's blue tooth, it took me a few tries until it was successfully linked and ready to use. The data report is easy to understand. Not a replacement for a sleep study but may offer some helpful preliminary info. I'm impressed with this little device.

Works OK but you'll want plenty of vet wrap and alkaline batteries
I purchased this aqua blue Emay device in August 2021 as part of a larger discussion with a cardiologist about sleep apnea contributing to heart disease. A family member who also has heart disease as well as sleep apnea requiring a CPAP suggested looking into my sleep quality, but I'm not yet ready to commit to a professional sleep study. I figured a $40-60 continuous monitor would allow me to investigate if my blood oxygen levels drop/pulse rate shoots up around the same time in the middle of the night. My experience is that this device isn't medical-diagnostic grade but it does a decent job of tracking you and helping "set the stage" for discussions with a doctor about professional diagnosis via sleep study.Where most $20 pulse oximeters are designed to show a measurement on a display for maybe 30 seconds and a point reading, this $40-60 EMO-80 Emay pulse oximeter starts a reading with the display for 90 seconds, then puts the display into a sleep mode where just a yellow dot flashes in the corner and it keeps recording data until the battery runs out or you remove the device from your finger and then hold the power button. With some Amazon Basics AAA alkalines I can count on about 2 nights per set of AAA alkaline batteries. You may get a 3rd night out of the batteries but that may cut short when they enter lower voltages. When batteries run out, the device seems to record the data from earlier but I think the readings look a little more erratic in the minutes leading up to the power-off. I'm currently looking into some AAA lithium batteries to see how they work out for this device. The kit came with one 1" roll of "vet wrap" cohesive bandage in black color. That bandage is great for comfortably keeping the pulse oximeter from slipping off your finger during the night. It doesn't leave a sticky residue like a tape would and it can be unwound and reused several times. I still found myself buying more 1" cohesive bandage rolls as I've used the oximeter. The % oxygen measurements in my meter seem on the low side by about 2-3% compared to what I see at the Doctor's office. I had to adjust my expectations for the readings based on that (the manual claims 2% accuracy). The app's default threshold for oxygen desaturation is similarly set too high by default, but can be lowered in the app.My experience is that the app is a bit clunky. You need to synch the meter with the app via bluetooth to have the meter get time/date info and upload data. The window to manually review data seems to be at a fixed width so you can either review your night with many pages of side-scrolling through 5 or 12 minute segments or generate a summary report that does a better quick overview, but isn't optimal for digging down into an individual event. I wish you could set the window's time width or do a two finger zoom in/out.Occasional random readings happen during the night as you move/stir and that can be picked up by the software as events. For some, that may be the sort of data you want. For others, like myself, I wish I could "smooth" the data over several readings and make the report only show me odd readings more than say 5 or 10 seconds long to filter out random noise from single readings. A longer smoothing window might make the report of oxygen desaturation events more useful/reliable, in my opinion. Right now, I have to manually look at the longer term report and judge what is an event vs noise. The battery indicator on the display does indicate battery strength at full, 2/3, 1/3, 0 capacity, but you only see the display for the first 90 seconds of operation which is when batteries are typically still pumping strongly even if low. If the battery indicator is less than full, you probably won't record a full night. As best I can tell, the EMO-80 is available in a blue or a white color scheme, with no difference in function between the two, just different sale prices on Amazon. I like the product well enough but would buy whichever color scheme saves you $ at the time.

Finally a company that stands behind their product
I bought this to compare with the pulse readings while daily checking Blood pressure using inflatable arm cuff. My doctor loves seeing the oxygen saturation levels as a bonus.Unit stopped working after about 7 months of use so I contacted them with a screenshot of my Amazon order and in a day they asked for my shipping address. Today, a week later, a brand new unit arrives in my postal box. Installed, one of the two sets of batteries provided and my first readings have been added to the previous readings in my account, seamlesslyHighly recommended, not only for the best online service I have ever encountered, but for a really high quality product that does what it is supposed to do and is simple to useAnd really, who in this day and age gives you an extra set of batteries !

Easy to use, detailed reports
My Apple watch reported my oxygen saturation was dropping while I was napping in a recliner. Readings are random with Apple watch and I wanted a way to record what my saturation was running at. Very pleased with the results. Detailed information which links to my Apple Health App so everything is in one place. Reports can be saved to share with physician. I would highly recommend this product. Very reasonably priced.

STRONG battery life is key
This requires two triple-a batteries every 24 hours of recording which can be pricey and environmentally harmful, batteries can do that....I love the app it's great has all the detail I want.I initially thought the problems were app related but they're not. That said for mobile or travel, I am keeping, I was going to request a refund. For the money, it works

Check your oxygenation and heart rate while sleeping.
I snored when I was younger and then I had a Dr tell me he thought I might have central apnea, very different from sleep apnea. I live in Mexico and there are limited options for testing so I went looking for something that might track my sleep. This device is handy in these days of the pandemic and I was able to track my oxygenation while sleeping. It was so easy to load the app and then sync with my cell phone. I am telling all my friends about this device. It was such a relief to get my results after the first night. I loved that the package included tape and extra batteries. Well thought out.

Love/Hate Relationship
I absolutely love this product as it helped to identify lower oxygen levels when sleeping. Switching to stomach and side sleeping helped to raise levels.Pros:- Long record time.- Nice graphs of SPO2 and pulse rate.- Nice data export feature to a CSV file to bring into Excel.- Allows one to add notes to each recorded data set.- LightweightCons:- Burns through alkaline batteries. Good for only two nights.- Burned through rechargeable NiMH batteries in 3.5 hours!- Has trouble connecting to the phone at times.- Has trouble sometimes syncing time so your result is dated 1/1/2000. Soo frustrating.- Does not really stay on your finger all night. I put an old sock over my hand to keep it in place.- The power on/off is weird so you just have to keep pressing.- Seems cheaply built, especially for the price, but the light weight is good when wearing overnight.
