Good kit,
This kit is really good. Comes with oak chips, skins and a decent yeast. If you let it go in the primary for at least a month, its better. We just racked, and will clarify this weekend. But its a very good malbec, and you can tell its only going to get better. I did add yeast nutrient when i pitched, but other than that, just followed directions.

Smooth right after bottling
This batch is incredibly smooth for over 15% ABV. This is probably my best brew yet.

A nice dry fruity Rose
A nice dry Rose. I bottled this about 2 weeks ago and it's still young and needs to age for a while but I had to try some. I made this kit in my basement which is cool at 58 to 65 degrees, it took longer than at my old location which was warmer, about the full 2 weeks in the primary. The collar temps brought out the fruitiness and color nicely. I will make this kit again next year.

Medium of the road Cab alread
Just cracked a bottle after only 2 weeks in the bottle. First impression is that it would compare to an $8-10 retail bottle right now.. with a few weeks/months time it could get to $15-20 retail level, not bad for a 12L kit with dried skins...Now if you want to step up to the Primeur 18L kit, that’s going to be much better, but you better jump on them now while still available because RJS just rebranded them and now they are only going to be 16L
