I am pleasantly surprised with these!They are a little hotter then I was expecting, but it's a nice heat (no where near a jalapeno and the heat doesn't linger), just more than I am used to with pepperoncini'sThe skins are a little thick as well (at least they feel that way), but like the extra heat, it's not bad and kind of nice, in a weird way...The peppers range from crunchy to a little on the soft-ish side, but nowhere near mushy like some others I have gotten.There is also a nice mix of large to small peppers.There is a plastic insert under the lid that keeps the peppers under the water, for a while at least, until you eat enough of them that it stops being effective, but it's nice to have it and unlike some of the stupid inserts that come with kalamata olives, this one actually works.I got these because a previous smaller container I got was terrible and tasted nothing like pepperoncini's.You will not be disappointed by these.

Exactly what I wanted! A little on the hot side but perfect for salads.

I Love the Taste of them, Plus they have the Right amount of Heat to them. I use them in omelettes and on Salad's, Cut up and Whole. But The Best Way to Eat them is right out of the container. About 10 in and You Feel the Heat. I love them For their Small to medium Size. High Quality and Best Value for the buck $.

I relied on the most recent couple of reviews, and I wished I would have dug a little deeper. I love a good Caesar or Bloody Mary drink with pickled peppers, and like others, I love the pepperoni at Olive Garden.These peppers are simply too salty and crunchy for my taste. I love biting into a pepper, anxious for the squirt of vinegary juice - only to get a salt brine.So I just picked up a jar of Mozzetta Pepperoncini to compare the ingredients. I suspect it’s the calcium chloride in the Regal Pepperoncini that does not exist in the Mozzetta Pepperoncini that makes the difference. Google says calcium chloride is a well known ‘firming agent’ used historically to keep pickles crunchy.

Im completely enjoying these. They are the perfect low amount of peppery spice and they are thick and crunchy. Delish. Very few tiny ones in there. They most closely resemble pepperchini you get in a papa John's pizza box. Saltier then olive garden, and nice to bite into. Survived shipping without a single leak which is uncommon for items like this.

Sodium 440 MG. a little steep and it can be felt.Flavor profile. Heat about 3-4 times higher than an average brand like Sun of Italy.Other than heat and salt, well, unremarkable.Flesh texture. They are all perforated to allow brine in side. About 50% are lager with thick flesh, much larger than the smalls. The smalls have much less flesh thickness, flattened with a good tongue feel. One gallon unless spoiled should last for 6 months.Always on the hunt. This will not be purchased again. Good enough, not great.Plastic jar will most likely survive shipping much better than glass. I prefer glass.. The last shipments in gallon jars , different brands., did not survive. Still waiting for amazon refunds.All hail the Scoville. LOL
