Reggio-Inspired Mathematics: A Professional Inquiry Project in the Richmond School District Paperback – September 3, 2015

I first ordered this book I was shocked how few pages that had for the price. However I must say it is one of the most used books throughout our Learning Center. Our Educators love this book and I've learned so much about how to stage display in demonstrate items that facilitate mathematical learning throughout the classroom. I cannot say again how amazing this book has been for my staff.

Good, straight forward information.

This book is very simple but you can walk away in 5 minutes with a quality activity for your early childhood classroom. Simple and easy to use with color illustrations.

While the ideas are good and the photos are beautiful, this book is hardly worth the purchase price. It is barely 30 pages long and the font is quite large (in other words, there's not a lot to it.) It does have value in inspiring teachers to make some beautiful math 'provocations' (activities), but overall I'm surprised at how limited it is.

Uses a huge font- probably size 16pts with 24pt as the headers. It's 30 pages consisting of several photos and brief explanations. This should be a couple of blog posts as it's really a $5 booklet at best.

I don’t usually write reviews but this thin book is excellent. Lots of practical ideas including photos to show many Reggio provocations of many mathematical concepts. Wish they had made a similar one for literacy.

Down to earth, simple ideas, amazing pictures to help you. Finally something that teachers can actually do NOW, rather than a theoretical lesson that you have to decipher later on.

Par contre, le fait d'avoir à mettre une phrase pour un article qui n'a pas posé de problème me gène, j'abandonne les évaluations, je ne vais pas y passer ma journée!

Déçue par les 27 pages... Des idées mais non détaillées... Bien trop court pour être pertinent... On reste sur sa faim. On en apprend bien plus sur les blogs.

It is a shame that it is quite short, I wish there would be more pages and examples but it really is inspiring and useful for new point of view.
