Monoprice HDMI High Speed Active Cable - 6 Feet - Black, 4K@60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, 36AWG, YUV 4:4:4 - Ultra Slim Active Series

I have purchased a few of these for my AV systems. The cable is smaller and easier to channel through equipment cabinets than most HDMI cables I have worked with. I have great picture quality too.It is important to note that the ends are labeled "Source" and "TV". It is important to get then the right way around. When I plugged it in backwards the first time, there was no picture or sound.

I bought the 10ft version as I was concerned signal integrity might suffer if I went much longer than that. I needed this to fit through a floor hole that just couldn't fit a standard size HDMI plug. This worked great and saved me from having to enlarge the hole further. Ran 4K @60Hz thru this cable without any problems. I also then added an adapter and another 3ft HDMI cable in series and still had good video. This is a great cable to get into tight spaces. I'll be buying more of these in the future.

Bought this cable to go with my 4K projector which my PC connects to. I have found the cable only supports 4K@30hz using RGB. Using Nvidia control panel, setting the refresh rate above 30Hz with default settings results in no picture. Setting the digital format to YCbCr 4:2:0, allows 4k@60hz but losing the ability to turn on HDR. Other formats are locked at 30hz without ability to turn on HDR as well.Initially I thought it was a limitation of my GPU/cable so I bought a 15ft AmazonBasics CL3 4K cable to make sure. The Amazon one supports 4K@60hz with HDR on so I can only conclude this cable does not support true 4K@60Hz at least with RGB/YcbCr4:4:4. You may be fine with movies but if you're use to playing at 60hz+, you will see a delay.

I ordered for my dad’s Birthday and he waited a while before asking me to come over and get his MacBook Air to his smart TV. The return window had already passed and I went over and couldn’t get them to connect. I tried a shorter thicker hdmi cable and they hooked up without issue. The cable is either too long and thin or is faulty in general.

It works as mentioned, but there are cheaper options out there as I really needed a cable and the cheaper option was out of stock at that moment. The cable construction feels solid with thin wires which making it easy to conceal when trying to create a clean set up.

I bought this cable last year before owning any 4K equipment. After recently purchasing a TCL 49S517 and AppleTV 4K I decided to try using this cable with it despite all the negative reviews saying it didn't work for them. Well, it is working perfectly for me. I have the 10' length version of this cable connected from the ATV 4K to the TCL TV HDMI #2 port and it works without issue. I ran the tests on the ATV 4K for every video mode and they ALL work. 4K Dolby Vision, HDR, 60Hz, 50Hz, and 25Hz, every single video mode works without a single issue. I watched the Dolby Vision version of The Peanuts Movie in its entirety and did not experience any problems.

I have had a problem with my DVD player going to my LCD projector. About once or twice a week, the picture would go to black and white and just fade out for about 5 to 10 seconds. I replaced a 15 foot passive cable with this 10 foot active and have not had the problem since. I would like to replace the other passive cable, but there is no power available to drive the active circuits.

Had to wire through a very small finished metal enclosure and no other brand has the required thinness with the quality given, this is well. The top of the list for my criteria and yes it worked out very well, looks and feels premium, tested it and it's up to par for speed.

So I was hooking up my source from my theater to my AV rack in another room. I needed an hdmi cable to daisy chain from my room through a hdmi wall plate to a 30ft hdmi cable into a receiver. I tried a couple of my cables some were 4K but not active. I thought I’d try this one and the extra boost it provided worked and my laptop will now send a signal through 2 hdmi cables and a wall plate.Glad it worked.

Like a few others have said, these wires are one direction only and are clearly marked. I didn’t read that part, plugged it in and was in the refund process until I looked at what others wrote. Since then, smooth sailing. Love how thin and lightweight the wire is.

Going through multiple cables that claim full 18Gbps spec, which would allow me to run 4K/HDR/60FPS with games and Apple TV 4K. Having bought multiple lengths they all failed, either with no picture or with sound drop out / white dots on screen. Unfortunate as Monoprice are leaders in value but these didn't work and now I'm stuck with $200+ in useless cables... my own fault for throwing out the bags too soon and not thoroughly testing them.

I ordered this cable today thinking I would need it but little did i know that i seriously didn't. Long story short: I'm buying some products suggested to help fix the power issue the Oculus Rift has with laptops. Was going to couple this up with a 4K repeater, but i only needed a HTC Vive VR breakout box and a amazon basics HDMI cable to do the trick.Today (Keep this in mind), i order this cable and then a few hours later i try to cancel the order to make a new order. The company replies to my email and makes me fill out a form to that will receive a response in one business day... Unlike the other company that instantly allowed me to refund and cancel the order.I believe the wire is still going to come but i seriously am unhappy with this order cancel process and may end up keeping a cable i over payed for. I'm hoping the quality and feel of the cable is worth the price. Will update this if i am refunded Amazon Store Credit or have to live with a purchase for i don't want to lose money having to refund a product.Edit:For what it is... I wouldn't say not to buy it, bit I have comfort and confidence in saying that the cable is worth maybe 25 bucks, not 30.The for is nice and snug, gold platted products are a must have for someone like me and if I or you never get an output on your display? - read the labels on the HDMI heads and try again, for youost likely mistaken this product for your basic HDMI cable.Having designated source and TV heads are a premium feel. Another premium feel about the cable is the sheath. It's a grippy like texture that is thin but not cheap. The cable feels like it won't break, even for how thin it is.Over all, im still upset I didn't have this order cancelled, and I won't return it for I'd lose 10 bucks cause of shipping and not to mention the taxes that were added on top. But... BUT, it's a good cable and too pricy.

Nicely designed. Great value from the Warehouse Deals store. Redmere technology which in shorter lengths like this isn't all that important, *but* in longer lengths (like in the living room from source to projector on opposite wall) ensures proper signal strength.Monoprice is always an excellent value in their products.
