Tool Aid SG 89920 Sanding Board

I'm not a auto body professional, but I do know this is one of the best purchases ever for the average car guy like me. For the price this is a fantastic sanding board!

The Hand Sander works good, but you have to make sure that you keep it flat. The bad part is it doesnot have a motor, but that is OK. The tool does what I need it to sand. In my case I am using it on wood and trying to keep the surfaces flat. It is also quiet.

I’d give anything if it had two handles instead of the one and a humo. After a few hours of sanding the lower end causes awful hotspots.

This sanding block was quite disappointing. The base plate is made out of dead soft aluminum, and could stand to be a little thicker as well. It's easy to bend, and doesn't spring back at all. So it'll be great as long as you don't push too hard on it or drop it or bump it on anything. I'd return it but I already started peeling the foam backer off of it before I realized they'd made the base plate out of play-dough.

perfect for flat sanding, confrotable to use, use good paper, and light pressure make a very flat surface if cross and angled sanded
