She loved it, but unfortunately her half size violin did ...
My daughter was excited when we received this half size violin case. She loved it, but unfortunately her half size violin did not fit so alas, we had to return it. Nothing wrong with the case - just not the right fit for our instrument. I have since purchased a different case from Amazon which worked perfectly for our violin. I have read other reviews on here and it seems to happen quite frequently that a case may be slightly too small (we're talking mere centimetres) for your size of violin and you obviously don't want to try and squish in your violin in or have too tight a fit that will put pressure on your violin.

Strangely Made But Very Useful in its Way
My youngest son was using a 1/2 size violin and had a Travelite case with it. It held his music books in an outside compartment and has little storage spaces for his chin rest, rosin, and cleaning cloth inside. It was a large case compared to his classmates' but it was lite and useful which earned the admiration from his peers. Now, a year later, my son need to move up to the 3/4 size violin. My sister gave him her old violin but the case was shot. So we looked for the 3/4 size version of the Travelite case, and there it was on Amazon! Once we received it, we noticed a couple of things. Beside the size, it had more compartments inside than its smaller model plus it also could hold up to four bows! Of couse he could store his music books in the outer compartment, but now he has more inside hidden compartments than he knows what to do with. I can not believe such a case this big is also so light. But, here is where the design is a 'head-scratcher': There is a zipper that runs along the front and sides of this case with zipper mechanisms on each end just like the old case. But this time, the handle is affixed on the inner portion of the case so the zipper mechanism can not meet in the middle like the old case. There is a snap buckle under the handle which my son had to get used to because the operation of it was a little different, but he adjusted. But you have this zipper material that runs all away around but it could only be zipped up to the handle. Why this strange engineering change? Who knows? It looks strange but still does the job, and my son is still earning the admiration of his classmates.Overall it is still a good, useful case.

Producto de gama baja
Sí es el producto mostrado y promocionado. El único detalle es que el broche para cerrar y abrir el case es muy frágil pues no es de buena calidad. Por lo demás bien.

False information. Not as described.
1. There is no “locking latch” on the case. I returned the case, the requested replacement arrived, STILL the locking latch does not exist on the replacement case.2. The length of the case is not 32 inches as described. It’s less than 31 inches.3. Not sure if the hygrometer works. The pointer points to 41 no matter when and what room the room is in.

Solid-built case
I purchased this to replace a broken 1/2 size Cremona Travelite case. This one is better then the one that came with the Cremona as it has 2 bow holders and extra compartments that would fit items like rosin. In addition, this case comes with 2 straps, and metal attachments on the case itself, so you can backpack the violin.Contrary to the other review, my experience is that this case DOES fit a half-size violin albeit very snug lengthwise. We have other Travelite cases and it should become less snug over time (the interior foam underneath the fabric should compress). This may be an intentional design aspect so that the violin will not budge in the case during transport (and to accommodate varying size differences among violins). The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5, is that it has 2 bow holders instead of the 4 shown in the pictures. Not too big of a deal since 2 bows in the case at any time should suffice for most violin students anyway.
