I've had a bad back now for 30 years. I've tried every seat cushion Amazon has to offer. Most times I return the item. I received the Ergo Cushion yesterday ordering the under 250lb size.Overall, the cushion is the best I've tried. However, it doesn't seem long enough for me and cuts into the back of my thighs. I tried adjusting it, pushing it more forward but after awhile, I can feel this discomfort. I used this on a recliner so that may be the reason. The seat portion is comfortable because I was able to sit on it all night. For me, I don't think there is a seat cushion out there that I would find totally comfortable but this is the best one I've tried so I won't be returning it. One note I will make, I first used it on my desk chair and it was much more comfortable there than on the recliner.UPDATE: Last week, a product specialist from Ergo21 contacted me suggesting that I most likely ordered the wrong size cushion. He offered to send me the Lg cushion with a prepaid return label so I could send back the original cushion. I received the new cushion as well as a complimentary cushion that works well on planes and recliners.As soon as I sat on the larger cushion, I could tell the difference. The L is long enough (I'm 5'9") and there isn't any discomfort in the back of my thighs. I can't believe how comfortable this seat cushion is. As I previously wrote, I have suffered with back pain for over 30 years now and have tried every memory foam cushion, gel cushion, you name it I tried it.But more importantly, Ergo 21 is the absolute best company I have ever done business with. Their customer service is more than outstanding. Obviously their principal for success is good customer service and they excel in it. I highly recommend this cushion for anyone suffering with back or spine pain. I suggest if you're tall, regardless of your weight, you order the Large version.

This has to be the most comfortable cushion I’ve owned. And I’ve owned a few. It’s has helped with my tailbone pain along with correcting my posture and stretching. I see a huge difference. The thickness is just right, the gel is perfect just in the right areas. And no more trying to find that comfortable spot to take the pressure off of your tailbone. Just sit back and sit upright. I was hesitate to buy it. So glad I did. It’s expensive but so worth it.You won’t be disappointed.It truly has worked wonders for me.

This probably the best one I have. Only complaint, (for my situation) a shade too thick.

Does the cushion slant towards the end where your thighs are so it doesn't cut off circulation?

This cushion is the best one I have tried, and I have tried a lot!!! It is so much more comfortable than anything else when I need to sit for long periods of time. It leaves me with floating sensation and my circulation does seem to be better. I would definitely recommend it for any person needing a coccyx cushion. I am a small person (5'2") so I could even use it a bit smaller in size. I keep it at my computer so anyone who uses the computer can use it and be comfortable

Very nice cushion. My only problem is, to clean it you can only wipe it down with a wet cloth. Hygiene is of utmost importance when it comes to disability management, so wiping it with a wet cloth is not sufficient. Will not buy again.

Great cushion. Far more comfortable than any others I've tried (I've returned several). Only caveat is that it would be nice if the back were rounded off to fit more easily in a hard, kitchen-type chair (similar to the original Ergo21 cushion). Nonetheless, it entirely fulfills the function, and I would absolutely buy it again. By the way, I'm a few pounds over the 175 lb. cutoff, but it works fine.

This one deserves a review, short and sweet.The wife can finally sit upright for the first time in months after a botched back surgery and as a result has neurapathy or however that's spelled. Worth every penny, just seing the smile on her face for the first time in a long time tells the story. Couch, chair, truck, front portch, everything is better.
