Better than the expensive ones!
We have bought more expensive roof top carriers that didn't even last one vacation and back. So this go around we decided to by the cheapest one we could (which also meant the lowest in reviews). Well this one lasted the whole vacation! And is fold d back up nice and neatly back into its original box ready for the next family vacay!!!

Not waterproof
Used this bag on our trip to FL and when we got to our resort our things were wet. So it’s not waterproof.

Over all it works great for the price, it met all my needs, and I would definitely recommend this product.
I used the roof top cargo to hold two plastic bins of basic house ware stuff, pet supplies (beds, crate, blankets) for 2 cats and a dog and a couple of bags of canned goods (with some room for a couple of backpack or something similar in size) on a recent trip from San Francisco to San Antonio. It worked great! I was a little apprehensive with the speed limit but I was able to maintain 75 to 80mph without any issues. There was some light to med rain during my 4 day trip and none of my stuff got wet.Putting it on my Honda CRV was easy though I recommend a pad to help with any moving and to protect your vehicle. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars was because I had some issues reading the instructions on how to connect the straps to accommodate for no roof racks.Once my friend helped me figure it out it was easy peasy. He had no problem with the instructions so I'm guessing it was more of a user error. Still I'll stick with my 4 stars because I think instructions should be made for the lowest common denominator (hehe). My friend suggested that at my first gas up I check the straps to see if they needed any adjustments. Which I did and the straps held for the entire trip with only minor adjustments at the end of the day and a check in the morning before the start of each leg.But I consider that more a safety check than an issue with the straps because they remained very secure during the entire trip.Over all it works great for the price and it met all my needs. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a little extra storage room. :)

Make sure to fill the hole bag
Nice big bag that holds a lot but if you don't fill it it flaps around a lot in the wind ours ended up with a few hole in it because of that

awesome!
This bag is incredible! Fit perfect on my impala, and gave me as much room as my trunk. My wife I into dogs were able to take enough for a five day camping trip in our impala. Being anal retentive, are used an extra cinch strap to make sure that it stayed in place. Highly recommended

This thing held all of my gear for my drive from Denver, CO to Portland, OR and I had zero issues. The bag is super easy to load and strap to your car whether or not you have a roof rack. I do not have one myself and I still had no issues. You'll need to pack the bag once on top of your vehicle to avoid moving/lifting a heavy/large object onto your car as well as strap the bag down tight, but as long as you do that you're golden. I also recommend pulling over regularly (every 2-3 hours) and check to make sure the bag is still secure.

Defective
We purchased this for our trip which we left for last night. We drove from Pa-va last night and we’re supposed to continue to ONX this morning. When we got to our hotel last night we noticed the bag had come opened (flaps were closed as instructed and mounted correctly) and there were wear holes in the bag after only 6 hours driving. My return limit is while I’m still on my trip so basically I’m out of $ for this defective item.
