I would like to think im pretty good at skipping My previous skipping rope wore out after 2 years of using (thats a long time)So I thought i would order this one.. for speed and light weight.The mechanism kept tangling the rope, something just wasn’t right. Ended up with alot bruising on my arms and legs. Found myself pounding the ground as i was skipping, the rope just couldn’t keep up.Would not recommend 🙁Cant even return anymore either 😔

The handles are easy to hold, non-slip and easy to clean the sweat off them after hard core exercise. I found these handles easy to hold and low on fatige of my hands and wrists after a month of 30 minutes every other day, then a month of every day 20 minutes exercise. The tope is tangle free and easy to adjust via screw locks on the swivel part of the handle where they attach. Personally i would have liked the ability to reduce the length of the rope permanently. The 3m 2.6mm rope is a steel wire with crimp ends to prevent the handles accidently releasing the cable from an end slipping. So its permanently 3m long with the handles adjusted along this length. For core work i reduced this to 2.4m and taped the 30cm back to the rope and locked it at the handle. This prevented the 30cm loose rope each end from whipping me! If i wanted to permanently set it at this length i would use strong cutters and cut the rope and crimp the end permanently. Happy inspite of this niggle to highly recommend Andrew.

Not great at all compared to other ropes I have bought for speed skipping

Does everything you'd expect from a skipping rope. Easily great value for money. However in my personal opinion I think it's a bit too light weight although it does the job. Extremely portable and I have used it at the gym a couple of times and at football training too. Don't have anything bad to say really. Good testimony from me and would be perfect for children in a smaller version because of its weight.
