I bought this book due to my interest in spirituality and philosophy. I wasn’t looking for healing. Again, the Universe knew it better than me what I needed. In the end, I have more questions than before. They are new, though. I’ve learned a lot. I always loved the plants. The book made me want to embrace them, talk to them, and listen to them. I will do it

According to this book Salvia isnt from this world, genetically modified from some alien species. Yeah. That didnt sit well with me, although the info got a little more palatable later. Never finished the book, may give it another try later.

Another good book by Ross Heaven on Salvia Divinorum and how to use this plant teacher. I enjoyed the read and the way he describes encounters with the the spirit of salvia or the salvia vision and as such this book would be a good primer to anyone wanting to try to see what salvia has to show or say to them. His other salvia book is better, "The Shamanic Quest for the Spirit of Salvia" and this book unfortunately re-hashes some trips he described in that book. I could have done without the repeats, but still a highly usable book. If you have never experienced the power of this plant, you may think the trip reports to be highly exaggerated but let me assure you they are not! If anything, the descriptions are feeble attempts to put into English experiences for which there are no words and are thus very superficial recollections of what the actual experience is like. Still, Mr. Heaven does a very good job of putting into words what is beyond words and gives a proper framework on how to approach this entheogen. Read this before embarking on a salvia trip!

Ross Heaven as ever has written a well thought account complete with experience from students of Salvia. He explains the unexplainable and puts into words eloquently said, what it is like to seek the guidance of this mysterious plant.

I don't expect it to happen - but it'S fairly clear to me, after reading this book, that if world leaders would get together often for "Salvia-Peace-Sessions" - world peace would certainly happen !!!!

Anyone whom has ever worked with the diviners sage knows how difficult it can be to decipher it's messages. You will find this book helpful in understanding and continuing to work with her.

If you have any curiosity about the teachings of salvia divinorum, I'd recommend both of Heaven's books on salvia but this one especially because it's literally dripping with juicy new reality shattering/tearing/ripping/spinning/smashing/timewarp insights and testimonials (both personal accounts and from Heaven's students) describing the mind-bending messages of the plant. I purchased a new Salvia plant in celebration after reading this book and I plan do try a second dieta come october/november.
