Slightly pricey; exactly what I was looking for.
Thirty years ago, my wife and I bought some cheap steak knives... probably at one of those outlet mall stores. They have been our prep tool of choice ever since. Goofy, I know. But we've gotten used to them. Then, our kids grow up, everyone wants the same knives they've used. Finally! Finally found something with a fine serrated edge. Most knives like this will have a more course serration. This knife is *perfect* as far as I am concerned. I've had it for months now and it works just the way I had hoped. This knife is not some amazingly high quality knife and seems a bit expensive for what it is, but if you only need one it's not worth quibbling over. The fine serration works perfectly to kinda "saw" through things without tearing them up. And without needing to be terribly sharp. "What does he mean it doesn't have to be terribly sharp?" I have some ceramic knives that come amazingly sharp out of the box. But, boy, you better not nick yourself with them. This knife will not pop your finger off. It's relatively thin from cutting edge to spine; thinner than a lot of steak knives. Inexpensive plastic handle. I've had a touch of rust show up on the blade: Theoretically possible it came from another utensil in the dishwasher, but I doubt it. (Yes, I run it through the dishwasher.) A simple solution to clean up rust from stainless is a tiny amount of Bar Keepers Friend, damp, rubbed gently with a paper towel. Good as new.Let's say you wanted a set of steak knives. Would you really pay six times the price of a single knife for a set of these? These? Hmmm... I guess that's a personal decision. How about for one? I think it's a palatable price for one.

Good bang for the buck
Super sharp and cut well. These knives with the micro serration don't "tear" thru what they're cutting, they slice thru what they are cutting. They're cheap/inexpensive and do the job. Can't ask for much more than that.

Cuts like a knife
Sharp knife, works well with steak. Not so good for lettuce (beware vegetarians)

Great all-around knife
These are very sharp!! The micro serrations are perfect for cutting everything from steak to thinly slicing tomatoes. The handles are plastic so you can soak them without ruining them, but I avoid that because you may get surface rust. There are different grades of stainless and even though they are stainless, for the price, I am guessing it is good, but not a superior quality. These are a pretty common design although I wish the handles were about 1/2 inch thicker and slightly longer to make them easier to grasp. Overall, I would recommend them. I bought 9 of them!! Hope this helps.

Great all purpose knife!
This is the best, lightweight, all purpose, serated knife. It does an amazing job on steak, fruit, making a chopped salad, etc.

my most favorite kitchen knife to use!
This is my 'go to' knife. I've used these for years and needed some new ones.I seem to grab this preferred knife first from my knife drawer.
