The jeans are more mid/high rise than low rise, on the model they appear to be at least three inches lower than in reality, and unfortunately I bought them specifically for the fact that they appeared to be so low rise. I also would describe the cut as more flared than expected, and the legs are pretty long, though it might be okay if you were over 5'6. The two stars are for the prompt delivery and the fact that they appear to be decent quality for amazon jeans. If you are short like me than I would not recommend these jeans unfortunately.
