I can't see why this won't work. If yours is a 5 wire device this ought to be fine. 250V should be plenty to protect. I can't see why you'd need 280V of protection in the one cap. US Voltages are up to 120V. Look at the schematic of your existing cap. If it matches this ought to work.

Hmmmm....never seen a 4-wire one with caps larger than about 6uFd. I did a few searches and came up with zilch. Sorry, can't help beyond that.
