Wouldn't bother
Bought for my 12 year old son. A string broke on his first go. Waste of money.

Helpful in learning the chord shapes
I used this at work when I was on long hold times on the phone, just practicing transitioning from one chord to another. It also helped to develop the toughness on the finger tips (that I found to be the hardest part of playing). I still use this when trying to practice a difficult chord to learn. Some other reviewers complained about the sound of it, but I think they missed the point, this is not for making music, just practicing the chord placement. You would need a real guitar to listen to the quality of the chords.

Very bad product. It is a playing item not for serious practice

It works
The product itself is as you see it. It works as described. The strings don't hold their tension for very long so adjusting them each time is needed. I use it for practising finger positioning..

Good for practice but not enough frets
This is good for what it is- a PRACTICE neck- it makes no sound, it's for fingering practice only. Good when traveling and you want to practice what you've learned. But it only has 5 working frets- it has a 6th one, but unless your 4th finger is on that one and the rest above, it's useless. I returned it as I realize this isn't enough working frets for me. Oddly, I have yet to see a practice neck with 10 or more frets, which is what I would really like.

String immediately broke
It arrived with the strings very loose with lots os slack. Can’t be used like that. Started tightening strings. One broke with very little tension applied. This item was too inexpensive for me to bother with the return process. Don’t waste your money.
