I was amazed at the price of a Rae Dunn coffee mug and found these Rae Dunn "inspired" mugs to buy as gifts. While they're definitely gift-worthy, only the lettering is slightly reminiscent of a Rae Dunn mug. These coffee cups are smaller (about the size of a standard mug), completely symmetric (unlike their inspiration) and the lettering is only surface paint (vs Rae Dunn's lettering that's imbedded). Still great gifts with personalization for an incredibly reasonable price!

I accepted that the mug was supposed to be “Rae Dunn inspired” so I did not expect it to resemble an actual Rae Dunn mug. I did not however expect to receive the product shown in the picture. As you can see the lettering is extremely close to the handle, off-centered and crooked. My wife actually laughed at it when she opened her gift(I did too but was a bit miffed that I payed for it). I thought this was obviously a one-off, given the Christmas crunch, so I reached out to the seller for assistance. She told me the lettering is exactly as it is should be and reinforced to me that it is “Rae Dunn” inspired and that I should’ve payed more attention to the description. I don’t know what’s more comical, the mug or the fact that the seller thinks it’s Rae Dunn inspired. I suppose if you only consider the font as inspiration, then she is correct. I think we’ll leave it in the cabinet for a while only to bring out for a laugh between us and friends…only since she doesn’t accept returns or give refunds.

I gave this as a gift to a friend. It was soo cute and done a great job with the writing. It arrived on time and packaged well.

I did the double sided cup for my mom for Christmas, shipping was super fast, packaged safely so no damage, the print is perfect, the only dislike I was hoping for a little larger mug. My mom will absolutely love this. Thank you. Will be ordering again.

This is such a great Rae Dunn inspired mug. The seller is also very understanding and very nice to work with. I greatly appreciate them working with me on the changes I needed made. And it turned out great! No, it’s not a big mug like the Rae Dunn’s, it is a normal 11oz white mug. And I think that people have missed reading that. I know I myself haven’t fully read everything in a description, but it is noted that they are just INSPIRED by Rae Dunn, and the mug is only 11oz.That aside, I am very excited to gift this!

The media could not be loaded. I’m partially at fault for my disappointment and I’ll own that.I was Christmas shopping and saw Rae Dunn inspired and got excited. I have a new son-in-law and wanted him to have his own mug at our home that resembled everyone else’s (we all have RAE DUNN). So I thought this would be perfect as we could get it personalized just for him.It is nothing like a Rae Dunn inspiration. It is a printed FONT, in that style only. I have 2 different sizes in Rae Dunn (I don’t have any “normal” mugs, so didn’t have a comparison), so just assumed it was the smaller of the two. It wasn’t! This mug is tiny, and thin. Not thick and chunky like I expected it to be.Onto the font. While it is decent and says what I wanted, it isn’t straight… yes I took out a ruler to check as I thought my eyes were playing games. It is only a mm off, but it does really bother me. Both sides are off by that same mm. The exclamation points look like l’s and completely misspelled, you can barely see the dot on the bottom. This should be mentioned on the page, as I would have skipped them entirely.I love that I could customize the mug, and it is funny…but honestly it is embarrassing. I don’t know if I feel right gifting this mug now as it isn’t even remotely similar in size or weight.If you are matching real Rae Dunn mugs keep looking. If you are wanting a regular mug with similar font only this is for you.I didn’t read reviews and am kicking myself for rushing bin my excitement. Don’t be me!

The only Rae Dunn "inspired" look is the font. The quality of work is nice however the font is not ingraved only "laser printed" on. The mug appears to be a cheap dollar store mug. It is an 11 oz mug. All other mugs are 16 ounces. So the mug is much smaller. The mug is thin. Doesn't hold heat. Coffee gets cold quick. Also will burn your hands if you grip the cup and not the handle.
