Best inexpensive vein finder
This is easy to use and works on all skin colors. It's great for what you need it. Is it going to find everything.... no but I've used it for hard sticks and dehydrated veins

Didn't show almost anything
I got several vein finders:- Veinlite LED Plus - Rechargeable Transilluminator Vein Finder- Venoscope II Transilluminator Vein Finder- Rechargeable Vein Finder Viewer for IV Access Phlebotomy, Handhold Vein Illuminator- FDA Registered HGVF637 Vein Finder- Infrared Vein Finder Viewer - Handheld Vein LocatorOn my skin, at least, the best performing was actually the very cheapest one (the no-name "Infrared vein Finder Viewer" which is a small loop of white plastic with an angular handle). It cost less than 1/8th the expensive VeinLite LED Plus. It is the highest contrast, and is also the lowest weight since it is AC powered instead of battery powered. For my use, that is not really a down side.This product, the next cheapest, has a mix of white and yellow lights and is worthless, it showed basically nothing.

It's not completely doing it's JOB
The product is pretty slim and light which is good for a medical uniform pockets, but it's not doing it's JOB ! Yes, absolutely, if there an old or light skin patient you can see nearly a bone! But on fat or well built people it's absolutely useless.

Waste of Time and Money
Thought it would be great for finding veins hard to palpate. ALTHOUGH it Only illuminates the viens directly under the arms of device (lights do not illuminate past 1-2mm past device arms), does not work well for darker pigmentation, barely visible in well lit rooms, have to press against skin which restricts blood flow and uncomfortable for patient. Sharp edges on arms. Worst money I have spend.

Not worth a dollar
It doesn’t work. You might get lucky and see a vein under the skin if you hold it at just the right angle, in the dark, while holding your left leg to the side and doing a ballerina pose. Seriously not worth the money. I found an app that I pay a few bucks a month for called vein seek that’s 50x better than this little device.
