Just what I needed
This works great! Seems pretty stable even though I only have part of the pole touching the wall since it's against a window. I wasn't sure if my vintage bike would be too heavy but it doesn't seem to be a problem on the bottom rack, though I don't think I would test it on the top rack. I might actually buy a second rack and put it back to back with this one to save me even more room!

Nice Rack!
I have two bikes in my office/workout room that had been taking up space in the corner for years. I recently started looking at solutions. I looked at several rack systems. Most of them are mounted to the wall. I didn't want to be concerned with stud locations and lose flexibility in where I could have the bikes. I also didn't want to use anchors that would leave holes in the wall if I decided to move the bikes somewhere else. This rack is the perfect solution for me. It was easy to assemble. It is portable and can easily go wherever I want it to; including other rooms. And, I don't have to take my map down. The bikes are easy to put up and take down. The arms were adjustable (bendable) to make the bikes level.

Great rack!
I bought one of these a few months ago to store my bikes in my apartment. I was so happy with the first one, I bought another for my other bikes. It's easy to put together, doesn't require any wall mounting, and has a nice, simple design. It's a great solution for anyone that lives in an apartment, wants to maximize their use of space, and doesn't want to take a chance on losing their security deposit.

Just works
Cons: Manufacturing tolerances could be tighter, not all pieces fit together perfectly so there's a little wiggle room/wobble in places, and as others have mentioned the arms upon which the bikes rest are linked and can't be height-adjusted independently.Pros: It just works, unlike the last gravity stand I tried which would fall over under load. Simple construction, easy to assemble and disassemble, stable against the wall when loaded with relatively heavy mountain bikes, does not need to be screwed into wall even though it comes with that option.Verdict: Would buy again, will be my goto whenever I need another bike rack. Improve the fit and tolerances and find a simple way to make the arms independently adjustable and this will get 5/5 stars.

Great rack for apartments!
I searched high and low for a convenient way to store my bikes in my (very small) apartment. Without being able to drill holes in the wall I didn't have many options. This was an absolutely wonderful solution! I assembled it in less then 15 min and love it! It seems to stable and holds both my hybrid and my road bike with ease. It is a great product.

Works, but leaves room for improvement
It does what it's supposed to, but not with much pizzaz. The bike holding arms are softer tubular metal that bend easily. I have lightweight bikes on it, but doubt it would be trustworthy with a 35+lb cruiser or freeride MTB hanging on it.Height adjustment is primitive but fairly straight forward and easy with pinch screw on the wrap-around dual arm. Unfortunately, the pinch bolt requires a wrench so it is not fast to adjust the height of the arms. And unlike other designs, the arms of the bike holding part are one piece meaning they cannot be independently adjusted for height. The stand is solid and fit together fine. However, if I were doing it over again, I probably would go with the Thule.http://www.amazon.com/Thule-BSTK2-Bike-Stacker/dp/B001PQVOOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347636718&sr=8-1&keywords=thule+bike+standThule Universal Bike Stacker

Perfect for us
We needed something that did not require a wall mount, as the room this was going in has hollow walls with heater pipes behind them. This was very easy to assemble, and is very stable leaning in place.

Great for apartments!
Good product, could be a little more sturdy but I like it and it's great for small spaces
