S&B Oriental Hot Mustard, 3 oz (Pack of 3)

When you whip this stuff up with water, you get a really hot mustard that soars right up into your sinuses. It certainly reminded me of growing up in NY and eating in Cantonese restaurants. Loved the mustard.I've tried using it w/o mixing with water. Just sprinkling some in glazes, or breadings for use in the air fryer. Interestingly enough, I didn't really taste it.Another observation is that you should mix up as much as you think you'll need. I mixed up too much, and tried covering a small bowl with the remaining mustard with plastic film and storing it in the refrigerator. Days later, it had lost a lot of its flavor and spiciness.So, EXCELLENT mustard if you like that really spicy Chinese mustard flavor. But disappointing to use as a dry powder in other coatings. And doesn't stay fresh and crazy hot for long.Just mix as much as you need at a time.

First one we have found that matches the flavor found in restaurants. Not bitter like many others. So easy to use since it's just a powder to mix with water.

Just like the restaurant with pork and seeds. Gives that good sinus burn. Mix with cold water for best results. If your looking for good, hot Chinese mustard this is it.

Easy to mix and ready to use in less than 10 min, gets stronger when it sits overnight but the potency is fine almost immediately.

We love Chinese cuisine and like to get carryout from a local restaurant. The mustard in the packets do not match the mustard that is usually found on the tables of the restaurant. Now I have that at home without shopping at a specialty store. Great convenience, great taste. The day I got my package, I got some of that carryout the same night.

Perfect, nice and hot! I use beer in place of water, if you want it extra hot!!

Mixed with a little mustard or ketchup it is great.
