Great work from Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, as good as Raising Sand, maybe, a little better, thats subjective ofcourse but certainly on the same par without doubt. A similar sound, which is what fans of their first album wanted, we always want more, insatiable lot....I was lucky to pickup a limited red, clear vinyl. Fantastic sound and a nice, good quality pressing for me (playing on a real planar 1 with an acrylic mat). It looks and sounds great. Some have said poor sound or poor pressing with the red, clear vinyl but I was lucky. To be fair, the odd one with new vinyl releases definitely does slip through the qc but I have usually found with Robert Plants new vinyl over the years they are very, very good quality, heavy weight vinyl. Similar to LZ stuff, these guys are vinyl fans themselves so they do pit out high quality vinyls in my opinion - and yhr music is sublime.Thanks, happy punter here. Get the red one, whilst you can. Robert Plant doesn't do never ending runs of his work on vinyl and they do gain value rather quickly.... snooze you lose....
