DOOTOO for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Case Luxury Leather Hybrid Plating PC with Kickstand Cover Shockproof Protective Fold Case for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G 2021 (Black)

I got the Z Fold 3 two days before it was released and the case came late, a full week later. It was one of the very few available for the phone prior to release (I bought it about a day after the phone was announced). The product photos do not show that there is a cheap clear plastic cover over the front screen, and said plastic cover collects fingerprints and looks horrible, not to mention mine came with a deep scratch from side to side in it. Since I otherwise like the case and the company doesn't accept returns, I removed the clear plastic cover. It was glued in very well, so I took a hammer to it in multiple spots so it would peel right off the edge of the case. I used a needle nose pliers and file to get rid of the remaining little pieces on the back side edges. All the photos I'm posting are after I removed the clear plastic.The only other problem with this case is that they didn't cut the two holes for the stereo speakers large enough, so one speaker hole on each speaker is covered by the case (and the case hole alignment is uneven with the other holes). I tested the sound both with and without the case and it doesn't mess with the quality of the sound or the volume, nor does it create a vibration/rattle, so it is usable.As expected, the leather on the spine bunches up in the back when the phone is open to the inner screen, but it does easily fold pretty much flat so that the phone doesn't rock side-to-side when placed on a desk/table/surface.The kickstand is a handy feature and can be used in folded or unfolded mode. It stays closed via a magnet, as you can see in the photos I'm posting. ETA: I was using my phone's inner screen and suddenly the kickstand popped open. The bottom magnet had become unattached from the case as it is held on by a piece of tape that barely has edges around the magnet. I used a bit of Loctite Gel super glue (in the squeeze-sides bottle for control) on the magnet space on the case and placed the magnet back on it. I left the kickstand open for a couple of hours to make sure the strong magnetic pull didn't undo the glue and it has been working since.Fast Wireless Charging does work with the case on, though it is significantly slower than without the case. It takes two hours more to wirelessly charge the phone from 15 to 100% with the case on. So far, in the car, the wireless charging speed IS able to keep up with and charge the phone when using both Bluetooth (music/phone/Google Assistant) and Wi-Fi Hotspot (Internet connection for the Android-based car stereo for Google Maps and other apps). I use wireless charger stands on my nightstand, in my office near my computer, and in my car (a car phone holder with wireless charging built in), so that's a necessity for me. The one on my nightstand must have been made wrong because it gives me an error when I have the case on, except in landscape mode which I'm not going to do, but the same charger in my office works just fine, as does my car holder charger, with this case on. ETA: I returned the defective charger and the replacement works as expected with this case.When you open the phone to the inner screen, the front of the case does slide a bit, which is not good for the screen protector that came built in on your front screen, but I applied glue dots from a tape roller to a few places on the edges of my phone and that worked to keep the cover in place. Other cases come with tape, but not this one.If you don't want to modify the case by taking the clear plastic off, I wouldn't recommend buying it, but otherwise, until more cases are made for this phone, it is good enough.ETA: After using the case for a few weeks, the red leather on the front left started to separate from the backing material. I have had to super glue it down three times (three different spots) now, but obviously this expensive cheap-a case isn't going to last a long time. Detracting a star for all its problems.

At best, it's a $20 case. I paid $60 because it supposed to be leather!Not even remotely convincing as leather...The frame on the small screen is WAY too obtrusive. Pull down notification is a fail 9/10 times. Swype and try using the edge letters and numbers(p,q,1, and 0) will likely end up seeing wrong. Good luck opening Samsung pay at the counter! You will be holding up the line forever.The fold is what's not protected against impact. The plastic gold-like frame around the screen should work great(far darker than you think), but will most likely chip its coloring off after a few drops.The"leather" (🙄) on the hinge bunches up when opened. Not very attractive when in that state.The plastic glass on the outside screen is kind of "milky" from certain angles. The famous Samsung deep blacks will not be noticed. It did is job, but picks up weird scratches.When folded, the frames don't come together near the hinge. Dust and debris from pockets most likely will reach the inner screen(which is NOT dustproof).Overall, if it were $20-30, these would be petty gripes. But at $60? U be the judge.Edit- after a few hard drops(😣) it protected nicely. However, the "leather"(🙄) ripped- its only a waxy paper, with a thin sponge backing. The Gold on the corner got messed up, as expected.The milky color turned out to be film on the INSIDE. (DOH!) Surprisingly, the kickstand held up pretty nicely. Knock off $20, stop calling it leather(🙄)- its a solid case

Product is good, and the color I chose reminds me of Legend of Zelda. My biggest issue is the glue for the magnet on the kickstand dissipated during a trip out of town so the kickstand wouldn't stay closed for a few days. Mind you this was also only about a week after I got the case. Once I got home I put some gorilla glue on it and it's been fine.

I ordered this cover before I even received my phone because I knew fold 3 cases would run out. When I put this case on my phone it felt so good compared to the Samsung cover with the attached pen case. My hands are not very big so being that the phone is large I was looking for a case that #1 had protection, #2 was not bulky #3 felt good in the hands #4 had a stand and #5 was nice looking and this case had it all.I like that the front cover of this case does have a screen protector on it because the phone’s original screen stays clean with no finger prints showing. When I first saw the case I thought the plastic looked cheap but once I put it on I couldn’t even tell there was a screen on there.The Kickstand works great while the fold is completely open and on its side. When you face it straight up and phone is open it falls to the side, not good. When the phone is closed and is straight or on its side it holds well. I feel the kick stand could have been made better but I am not complaining because it holds up excellent in the other positions.I choose the lilac purple color and was so pleased with it because it is so gorgeous and it even has a bit of sparkle to it when the light hits it. The purple color looks elegant and not cheap like some other cases I have seen.Overall I don’t see a better case out there, to date, so this is my case and I am sticking to this one. Just buy this case and you wont regret it.

This case is absolutely gorgeous and I've received many compliments on it, but today after only owning the case for 3 weeks it's started to come apart on the front. I am going to have to try to fix it myself or order a case from another seller because I'm concerned another case would fall apart again.

The case worked fine at first but over time, it slipped easily even with double sided tape to hold it in place which caused the case to scratch the screen protector that came already on the phone. After regular use, it also looked extremely worn after only a few months.
