Sesame seeds are high in copper, manganese, calcium, iron, B1 and magnesium. A quarter cup of sesame seeds contains 2.5g of saturated fat and no cholesterol. The powder is made by roasting the sesame seeds which brings out the seeds’ full, nutty flavor then grinding the seeds into a fine powder. Toasting or roasting sesame seeds alters nutritional values. Studies show that the calcium levels are slightly higher when the seeds are toasted. The lignans in sesame seeds have been shown to lower cholesterol, prevent high blood pressure and protect the liver. Sesame seeds are also said to boost the immune system. Sesame seed powder allows you to mix them into other dishes without getting the texture, but still getting the flavor and nutritional value. Incorporating things like roasted sesame seeds, as well as other seeds, into your daily diet can be a great way to improve the nutritional value of your meals and eat healthier.

Yum!
SO useful! Still discovering ways to use it. Used instead of Panko or homemade breadcrumbs (especially for deep-fried goodies), it reduces carbs and lends a whole new (lovely) flavor.

... but my old MOSZKITO flip flops have a much better arch support
The arch support is OK but my old MOSZKITO flip flops have a much better arch support. I'll probably order that brand the next time I order flip flops. Don Nally
