This is an excellent product, Very easy to install and use. Needs an adjustable regulator hose to work the best.

Easy Upgrade
Installed this on an old Predator 3200/4000 generator to replace the stock carburetor since the generator sat for a long time without being used. The generator is intended to be used to power a camper so being able to run propane is really nice. The ALLMOST carb bolted right on and had no issues with space. It fired right up on gasoline with no leaks with the included gaskets. My only complaint about this is the brass hose barb used to connect the LPG/NG supply is pressed into the carb so it cannot be easily replaced with a different style fitting. I assumed it would be a NPT type fitting but it is not. I ended up just cutting off the screw-on fitting from the 3/8" propane hose, heated the end of the hose up to soften it, slipped it onto the barb, and secured it with a worm clamp. I rotated the hose barb so it didn't point straight to the generator's wheel and secured the hose to the frame with some zip ties to take the stress off of the fitting. Make sure you use an adjustable gas regulator since it doesn't require much pressure to run and too much pressure will choke the engine. The seller will provide instructions if you request them however, the intructions aren't very good. Do yourself a favor and just get a new sparkplug when replacing the carb. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this carb.

Works perfectly
I bought this conversion for an older gasoline generator I have had for some 20+ years. My issue is mostly the hard starting of small gasoline engines caused by odd additives mandated by government. This conversion definitely helped hard starting caused by fuel. In the end, an irresistible sale for a multi fuel larger capacity generator with electric start showed up, both solutions eliminated many issues. This conversion definitely works.

It worked very well. I highly recommend!
It took 7 pulls to get it started and ran like a champ. I highly recommend this conversation carburetor kit to run your generator on propane. Only use non-ethanol gas in your generators and small engines to avoid ruining the fuel systems. Lesson learned for me.

Did come with gaskets
Didn’t come with gaskets even though it said it does. Looks like it will work and got here on time. Would give it higher ratings if it came with everything

It was for my hubby so I can't answer.

It is not a direct fit for my Predator 4000 generator, however, It is a tri fuel kit.
If your generator has wheels, you need to remove the one next to the new part for clearance to install it. Also, If yours is a carb compliant (California) you need to relocate the evaporator canister and remove (by cutting) the mounting flange if it is vertical. This requires a longer hose, which I had to grind the o.d. to install it to the air cleaner. Operating Instructions would be nice. The lever at the bottom is to drain the carburetor bowl of gas before switching to propane or natural gas. "On" means drain, and "Off" means closed. You also need the low pressure regulator and hose. Once the modifications were completed, switching between gas and propane is easy. Close the gas lever and open the choke to run. Push the button on the propane adapter to prime it, and with two or three pulls it runs on propane great.

Drop in replacement for Predator 4000
The media could not be loaded. My carburetor was clogged and didn’t want to mess with cleaning it and letting it sit to clog back up again before next use. Got this dual fuel carburetor with propane converter and it was a perfect drop in replacement for my Harbor Freight Predator 4000. As other reviews stated it was a pain the get the propane regulator hose onto the barb fitting that is pressed into the carburetor. Heat up the hose with heat gun and use lube and work it in. Tested out on propane and ran perfectly. Switched to gas and ran as expected. Started up fast better than stock carburetor.
