Received as promised
Boxes arrived as promised and undamaged. The grill itself did not work, but after working with Memphis Grills directly, we have worked out a satisfactory resolution. We did not contact the seller because the problem appears to be a default in the grill itself, not anything they could have helped us with.

Best grill of any type I have every owned.
Wow! The best grill I've ever owned, and I have owned many, all propane until last year when I bought a Rec-Tec pellet smoker after seeing a Traeger at our local Costco. Rec-Tec is a nice grill, works well, has been trouble free, but the two things that I wasn't thrilled with were, #1, it took quite a while to warm to max temp (500 degrees), and I found 500 degrees wasn't really hot enough to get a good sear on steaks, chops, etc. #2, made in China. Now, I have nothing against the Chinese, but I am one of those people that try and buy American made products whenever possible (and that is getting more and more difficult). The Memphis Pro is made in the good ol USA, built like a stainless steel tank, very easy to do the final assembly, and gets HOT, 650 degrees, and didn't take all that long to do it. Double wall stainless construction with a restaurant oven grade area of insulation on the hood really help in this regard I believe. My first BBQ on it was like night and day from the Rec-Tec, which as I said, is a very good smoker/grill. With the Memphis Pro you can also switch out the plate for the direct flame insert and grill/sear with direct flame, another big plus. Two disposable aluminum pans catch grease and ash, so cleanup is also a breeze. Last but not lease, it is a beautiful grill, and inspires many oohs and ahhs from friends. Overall, a definite investment, but worth every penny, I would recommend 1000%.

Memphis Pro works flawlessly even on a 14* day.
Yesterday I smoked a 10# Boston Butt with an outside high air temperature of 14*. The grill was impressive. I went with the Memphis because I wanted to grill year round, yesterday proved I made the correct choice. The double wall construction and home oven like lid seal are key. The quality of the grill is top notch. WiFi is very handy. I initially had problems with the WiFi dropping but moving my router closer to the grill solved that issue. The Memphis is worth every penny and will give many years of enjoyment.
