Hot Springs Vanguard Replacement Spa Cover and Hot Tub Cover - Charcoal

The good-this cover costs 1/3 the price of the original equipment cover. The bad-there is a reason why it is so cheap. The vinyl is much thinner than the OE material. The vinyl literally tore after less than 1 week of use. The cover is the same thickness as the OE cover, but the foam insulation is not nearly as dense as the OE cover-as such it does not insulate very well. The hold-down straps are not adjustable like the OE ones. As such when they stretch out, the only way to tighten them is to drill new holes in the side of your hot tub and reposition the plastic clips. The cover fits the hot tub OK, but not perfectly. The cover sticks out over the edge of the hot tub corners by 2 inches.I have had the cover for a couple of weeks, and am trying to get a refund. The problem is that they want me to ship the cover back to them, at my expense. Given the size of the cover you will need to use a shipping company other than USPS, UPS or Fed Ex at a cost of over $100! I think I am going to get screwed on this one... Buyer beware. There are better options out there.

Arrived Early, Good fit on Vanguard hot tub... Knocked one star off for creased lip / shirt does not cover 100% on front of hot tub. Contacted seller for help. See picturesSeller stated seam should relax in warm weather , or use hair dryer / heat gun to help remove the crease.Feb 9th crease is relaxing, had alittle warmer weather in between the rain storms, yet not 100% gone yet. Have not applied any heat to it, letting mother nature warm it up.

I should have know this price was to good. It's at least 4" to big and I can't put my brackets on for my cover assist. Positive is it came on time and it's light and easy to handle. I don't think it will last though but I hope I am wrong.

Fantastic. Was very hesitant to buy an aftermarket cover. Didn't think it would be as good as the other 3 OEM covers we've had. This was *half* the price, and it is also lighter, which you will also like!
