Sturdy and Perfect
This lighting holder only clamps on to the tank; it is not free standing. So the tank must overhang the surface it is sitting on, which worked well for us. As long as the lamps are stationary, this stand works well. Because we have a top on the tank, if we rotate the lamps, the clamp can slip off so we have to be careful.

Fantastic buy
This dual lamp stand holder was very easy to install. The price was reasonable for the quality you receive. Everything seems to be pretty durable, no sagging nor leaning. It’s very adjustable to your tanks needs, shape, and size.

Works well
These work well for our turtle. I wish they were a little sturdier. We have the height maxed and they are almost too short for our 75 gallon tank. Maybe they would seem sturdier if we didnt have them extended the way we do. Otherwise, great stand. It would probably be better either on a smaller tank, or lower water usage.

Reptile light stand
The stand is perfect because I can set it over the top, but I can still twist it around when I go to lift the top of my cage so it’ll go to the side instead of knocking everything over. It fits perfect works great.

Snapped threading, wish it didn’t :(
When I was putting the two poles together to raise the length that it will grip onto the tank, the threads weren’t going together. I tried and tried to make it work but it finally gave out and snapped on me. Overall not a good experience. I’m sure it was a one time thing but unfortunately I didn’t have the trust to order another one.It seemed like it would’ve worked perfectly if that issue didn’t come up so no harm in ordering it and trying! But it was a bummer that I had to return it. I would give this company the benefit of the doubt however because it might’ve just been that I was the lucky one to have gotten a defective product. (Tends to happen to me a lot lol).

Sturdy enough
Got this to hang 2 lights for my bearded dragon. Holds them fine and was easy to assemble

Wish I’d returned this!
The media could not be loaded. Adjusting it is incredibly difficult and honestly just stupidly designed! It’s all screwing it up or down so it’s impossible to get the height I actually needed for this to lock on to my tank. And the little foot that goes under the tank is so small there is no way it would stand with any amount of weight. I have to put something to wedge it against the wall to keep from falling over. Why can’t you just slide the clamp up and down to get to wear you need it and then lock it in place? Makes zero sense. Next time I’ll do my research before blindly purchasing. 😒

It holds lights, so yay
This is meant to go on a traditional glass or acrylic aquarium, not a large trough like we have for the turtle. So that's 100% on me for not doing my due diligence.Despite my ineptitude, I still managed to MacGyver it onto the habitat and it works as intended. It holds both the heat and UV lamps securely, the arms are adjustable so we could get them to optimum heights. I feel they are secure and won't pose a threat of falling into or out of the habitat.Since putting the lights on this, our turtle basks much more frequently compared to when we had the lights hanging by strings. He also is less skidish when we're around, staying on the platform and letting us pet him or doing booty scoots when we're using the toothbrush to clean his shell. The basking platform reads at textbook temps now, verses to warm or cool. If the turtle is happy with it, so am I.
