My garage door was getting bad. When I would put it up or down it would shake and vibrate, sometimes even a loud bang coming for the area of the springs. I just assumed the guide track was bad or the guide wheels on the door were bad. But then I read multiple reviews about bad pulleys causing these issues. Sure enough, this fixed everything. I took the old pulleys off and they were bent and the ball bearings were worn. I put these on and now my garage door goes up and down quietly and smoothly! The whole repair took about 20 minutes from beginning to end. Well worth it!

I have a big heavy composite garage door. The last replacement pulley I bought at Home Depot made it about 3-5 years and then bent. When I removed it, the lip was rolling over and the bearings were history. I've now been using these pullies for about half a year and they are very well made. The door opens smooth and I'm happy. Great value for what you get.

I ordered these pulleys for use on my worn units connected to heavy lift springs on my garage door. My door developed rough operation with a lot of side-to-side motion when coming down. The original roller-pulleys were worn out. These units were easy to install (took me less than 15-minutes to do both sides). Mine were attached with 5/8" cap bolts and nuts requiring two open end wrenches. But putting the garage door in the "up" position, there was no spring tension to fight during the R & R. The new replacement units appear to be very well made and the ball bearing shaft operates smoothly. I suspect these will outlast the door.

I purchased these to replace my 30+ year old pulleys. What a difference in construction and operation.These pulleys are heavy duty ,well built and very quiet . I did add more grease to the bearings just to keep moisture and dirt out.The safety cable guides run closer to the springs than my old ones. This was not a problem I did apply grease to the guides also. Overall very happy with product.

Installed a new garage door opener a few months ago. I put in a belt drive. Was very quiet. Was I happy.Then a couple of weeks ago, my door would make terrible squeaking sound. Purchased the pulley kit and what a differance. Like a whole new door setup. Would definetly recommend this kit.

I like the product. They appear to be more heavy-duty than the old pulleys (some of the "old" were only a couple years and the bearings were shot). The product description matches what I got, although it would have been nice if they'd included 2 more bolts (4 pulleys, 2 bolts and 2 yokes) so I didn't have to use old bolts. Door is much smoother and quieter now. I expect these will hold up better than the old ones.Arrived a day early.

Above average built pulleys for residential garages; they were even pre-lubed from the seller; however, mine were clearly stamped CHINA on the side of the sheave where on the images shown there are 4 bars on the side of the sheath.But then again, what isn't made in China these days?
