All I want to do is just feel on this pillow protector. So soft!

I produce a lot of oil on my face and scalp which quickly ruins pillows and the stuffing inside. I bought these to protect an expensive pillow that allows me to choose how much filling I place inside. This is my second purchase of these since the first set worked, but the zipper broke (my fault, but they are small and potentially fragile, so just take care).It definitely protects the pillow and the stuffing. It's not very loud (at least I don't notice it), and I recommend leaving the corner of the zipper open maybe a half-inch to let air freely move in and out of the case (otherwise, your pillow may not fluff back up very well).One thing I can't speak to is the softness because I place another sheet over the protector.Highly recommend

UPDATE:I recently had to open my stash of these pillow protectors, as our puppy was diagnosed with canine parvo and had been snuggling on every bed in the house. It was recommended that we wash all of our bedding in bleach, and discard anything that couldn't be washed. (Per the manufacturer, these pillow cases should not be washed in bleach). I was so shocked at the poor quality of these most recent waterproof pillow protectors from Ultra Block. The new batch was completely different from the pillow protectors that I purchased in April.The texture of the terry cloth was rough, like a burlap sack. The instructions indicate that they should be washed before using, so I thought that perhaps they would fluff up after washing. To my immense disappointment, they felt like rough sandpaper. I decided to put one on my pillow and put a soft flannel pillow case over it for the softness. I had to take it off after an hour. I just couldn't stand the stiffness and crinkly noise.This new batch of pillow protectors from Ultra Block felt like I had put a plastic rain poncho, covered with sandpaper on my pillow.Such a shame. I would not recommend this product now.Second update as of April and May 2019As the original pillow protectors were the best that we have ever bought, I decided to try purchasing again. I was thrilled to receive those wonderful, plush, quiet, cool protectors that I had originally bought. I quickly ordered 4 more sets!As I was so disappointed in my previous batch, I tried so many other pillow protectors, but none compared at all to these.These pillow protectors have been a great investment for me, as they have lasted much longer than I expected. I have several sets that have been put through the wash hundreds of times in the past year or so, and they still function perfectly, just a little more off white than the new sets. 😀I’m probably going to purchase a few more sets to have in my closet. I would highly recommend this product.... but I would definitely do the touch test to make sure that they have the beloved teddy bear plush feel. 😃Review of pillow protectors purchased in April 2018:My family love these pillow protectors! The terry fabric is so soft and plush that my kids like to sleep with no pillow cases over them. My daughter says that it's like sleeping with a soft teddy bear under her head. 😀They truly are waterproof, and very stain resistant. My son spilled acai purée on one of the cases. None of the purée leaked through to the pillow, and a gentle rub with mild detergent released the stain immediately. He also had a nose bleed at some point, and the blood had dried in to the pillow case before I noticed. Amazingly, with just a little rub of mild detergent, the stain was gone!These pillow cases are also very quiet to sleep on.I highly recommend these pillow protectors. After my initial order, I ordered 5 more sets. When I went back to order more, I was so disappointed to see that they weren't in stock. After months of looking, I was so pleased to see them back in stock, and ordered 5 more sets just to have extras in my laundry closet.

The fuzziness feels nice (although under a pillowcase I don't know how important I think that is), but the 'micro plush' is an odd texture which doesn't want to let go of water in the dryer. I can leave it tumbling on low heat more or less forever and it'll remain sopping wet. The best solution I've found is to 'snap' the liner (sort of like that obnoxious gym towel thing) a few times, tumble it for a few minutes, snap it again, then tumble dry normally. I'd suggest doing this outside, it sprays a surprising amount of water.

When I put this on the body pillow it was very tight which is to be expected on a first use. I find it does its job well. We'll see how it does in a few years. When you wash it you can't put it through the dryer. I had to hang it up to dry inside out to allow the waterproofing to dry first. Then I turned it right side out and eventually put it in the dryer air only.

This protector is as fuzzy as a fleece blanket, except as a closely-cropped version. Advice you wash it before using it, since straight out of the zippered plastic packaging, it will shed a bit of noticeable white lint. Otherwise, this protector is really good in all other respects.

We use it on my husband’s body pillow that is used to position him comfortably in bed. He is an invalid from Parkinsons

These are really high quality pillow protectors and excellent value at this price. Quiet in use as well and the waterproof membrane is thin yet effective. Only downside for a UK buyer is that the sizes are not an accurate fit.

Fantastic. Soft and velvety.

This really helped with my dust mite allergy, which has recently got worse - I noticed an immediate difference the first time I used it, and my sleep quality is much better now. It's a little too big on my Ikea Rolleka ergonomic pillow, but so are most pillowcases.

Overall happy with them. They didn't stink, they are pure white, they're super soft, lined well, not noisy. I have yet to wash them, but don't imagine I'll have to do that soon anyway. I recommend them!
