The media could not be loaded.  These twinkle bulbs are perfect!! So nostalgic! Tip: buy with NON twinkle bulbs and string every OTHER so you don't constantly blow a fuse. Long lasting if you do it that way.

We've been collecting C9 incandescent Christmas lights at garage sales over several years and decided we wanted the "clear" colored twinkle lights. Those we received were vary good with no dead or broken bulbs. These are just so much warmer than the new LED versions. Shipping wasn't an issue considering we ordered so close to Christmas, no complaints here. We bought some a year or two ago and we pleased back then so we had no concerns reordering some more.

These are a hard find, Impossible in the stores now. These are the old style C-9's of days gone by. They twinkle randomly & the colors are nice. Time will tell if the blues & greens keep there color over years ( a real problem with Chinese dyes ). They have been up since Thanksgiving til mid January & not a bulb out. Thanks Novelty for carrying these still ! !UPDATE: 2020 These bulbs are still working great. The blue & green have faded more than the other colors, But better than Home Depo/ Lowes. I've added them to my Novelty C-9 LED strands & they look like same bulb type, Except the blinking effect. Wish Novelty would make a C-9 LED Twinkle Bulb for color & low wattage. Still they are BEAUTIFUL !

I added these twinkling/blinking lights about very 10 or 12 lights.Unfortunately, so far out of a box of 25, 1 bulb was completely broken into pieces and 7 have yet to light at all.The ones that do twinkle and blink are great. Did I mention I bought 3 boxes? Weather permitting I'll get the rest interspersed this week. I sure hope more work out of the next 50.Also the color and quality of the finish seems to be very good and pretty when lit up.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall I’m pleased with them. My only advice for improvement would be the blink time. When they do come on its only for a second or two, which would be fine if they didn’t take so long to come back on (two to three times as long). All that said, they are a dying breed and I was happy to find them.

Seems like non of the stores here carry the "twinkle" type blinking C9 bulbs. Weirdness. This order arrive timely with absolutely no damage. The box, however was not labelled a twinkle or blinking so I initially was going to get angry. However, I put a few in a C9 string and they work as advertised. I have not had them long enough to judge quality or how long they last but the order was entirely correct as advertised with no breakage and arrived timely. I would order again from this company.

Have used these C9 lights for the past 3 years and they are SUPER! I've either bought through Amazon or from the seller's website directly. They are Beautiful! I love the twinkling effect (as they remind me of the lights from my childhood). Last year's winter was SO harsh (it was like the winter storm that wouldn't end!) that it took me a while after Christmas to be able to take down the lights from my house. When I was finally able to I noticed the color film on the bulbs had either faded or began to peel (due to the harsh winter winds), BUT the lights never stopped working! I wasted no time, though, in buying more lights to replace them because I think they're just wonderful!

I bought this to replace a broken light on my roof. It was a great color but started to flash. All season it was flashing while all the others were constant on. I did not climb back up on the roof for one bulb. will check before hanging lights next year

I was replacing outside strings and lights and bought new strings and ordered these bulbs. Previously we had normal strings and twinkling bulbs. I thought these bulbs were the same as the previous twinklers. The seller contacted me before shipping and informed me that the bulbs go on strings that twinkle . The bulbs will not twinkle unless you have twinkle strings. I did not know that twinkle strings were available . I appreciated the call from the seller and cancelled the bulb purchase since I already had new non twinkling strings.Seller is top notch. Just not the product I needed.

Purchased C9, clear twinkle (blink on and off) bulbs.Paid regular post, the delivery was a few weeks, no problemPackage arrived and I tested the bulbs, steady burn, not twinkleI was really disappointed, paying the price I paid per bulb for steady burn is no dealreturn and refund happened in a reasonable time, waiting for my bank to accept funds

Very nice twinkle lights - they are twinkling. Apart from the HIGH shipping from the USA - you can't find these lights in my area. I am very happy with purchase - just wished the shipping was 1/2 the price but such is life as an elf.
