Really Wanted Them to Work for Me
I purchased these to use as a device to isolate my winch from my battery when the winch is not in use. The connectors seemed robust and the pins appeared to be sufficient for 50A service. In theory, they'd be perfect for me. However, when the connectors were fully plugged together there was no continuity until you then pulled the connectors apart a bit. I wasn't satisfied with that. My plan B was replacing the connectors with a battery isolation switch on the positive side of the circuit.

Short delay in shipping due to weather and zero instructions on which way to insert the contacts but ya have a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. Got these to connect to an existing power converter for use with a 12V diesel heater. I crimped and back-filled with solder.

These things are small!
I thought the plastic housings were all one standard size and the prongs were the only size difference. But no these things are about a third of the size compared to the O gauge and OO gauge housings.

Works fine once put together
No instructions and not entirely obvious at first glance. Also you can't connect the two halves until everything is installed. Once the pins are on the wires and you figure out how they go in everything goes together just how you would expect.

Product was good. Was what I expected. Amazon’s not shipping stuff as fast as they should be. I thought we were supposed to get stuff in two days and this isn’t the first time this happened.

Artikel wie erwartet und leicht einzubauen, wenn man über eine entsprechende Crimpzange oder einen Lötkolben verfügt. Die beigefügte Anleitung ist leichtverständlich und bebildert. Der Artikel wird verwendet, um einen Wohnmobilbatteriekasten, im Notfall auch unter Last, von der Bordelektrik zu trennen.

Gut, aber ....
Wahrscheinlich steht es irgendwo geschrieben. Vorsichtshalber schreibe ichs hier nochmal. Nicht zum Testen einfach mal einen der Metallstifte ins Gehäuse drücken - ich wollte einfach sehen wie das reingehört - das geht nicht mehr raus !!!!Meine 35mm² Kabel waren allerdings zu klein. Schätze das man 50mm² Kabel braucht. Ich gebe trotzdem die volle Punkte, war ja meine Dummheit. Also mindestens 50mm² Kabel und Stecker nicht zum Testen Mal in das Gehäuse einführen, die gehen nicht mehr raus. Die Verbindung ist dann auch sehr gut. Wurde auch unter Last von 70A über 15 min nichts warm.
